Naruto vs Gaara definitely #1 for me.

#2 is 8 Gates Gai, who warped space and time with a side kick to actually fight on an even footing against Madara, to the point Madara flat out says "Man, you are one hell of a badass!"

After that, its all pretty much the same, just hax on hax on hax.

#3 would be the epic use of Sexy no Jutsu against Kaguya probably

 

His stupidity comes into play with gags a lot but he's not stupid to be funny. He's really stupid. Like in Alabasta he ran his crew into a trap and almost them all killed. He didn't know who his father was and he didn't know Shanks' significance.

Also wouldn't say he forces his crew to pick up the slack. They do it on their own because they don't want their friends to die either. Yeah, he expects Zoro and Sanji to fight but not the weaker members.

As for my favorite fights:

1. Naruto vs Sasuke VotE.

2. Jiraiya vs Pain

3. Gaara vs Lee

 

Hmmm, top fights are a tough one. I'd probably go with something like

1. Jiraiya vs Pein
2. Lee vs Gaara
3. InoShikaCho + Kakashi vs Kakuzu/Hidan

Didnt really like any Naruto centric fights as they all eventually turned into variety of rasengan/kage bunshin spam in one way or another.

 

The best fights for me where.
1. Kakuzu/Hidan v. team 10 and Kakashi
2. Sasuke v. Itachi
3. The whole Madara and Kaguya battle
4. Jiraiya v. Pain

 

A vs. Sasuke. I thought the raikage was going to go super saiyan.

 

Lee v. Gaara and VOTE!Naruto v. Sasuke are what kept me going to the end of the manga. East coast is beautiful green beast coast, and the celestial gates remain the coolest magic ninja thing I have ever seen.

 

I was with Madara. Madara is epic as a villain and doesn't have any weakpoints to be exploited. Kaguya was ridiculous and unnecessary though. She didn't seem like an experienced fighter, needed pointers from Zetsu, and had no personality. She didn't even really do anything to earn her power like Madara. Madara(and arguably Zetsu) put in most of the work and then she tries to come in and take over? Screw that.

 

The battle with Kaguya was a battle of raw power vs skill. I think a lot of people look at Kaguya with Byakugan and say why wasn't she all seeing when Sasuke and Naruto where fighting her head on. The reason I like that battle so much is because it was the first battle where you can honestly say team 7 fought as a team.

 

My favorite fight of the whole series was Edo Madara versus the Shinobi Alliance and Kages. He just obliterated everyone...

 

In no particular order:

Naruto vs Neji

Sasuke vs Gaara (the interrupted fight during the finals)

Naruto vs Sasuke (Pt 1)

Sasuke vs Killer B

Neji vs Kidomaru

Minato vs Tobi during the 9 tails attack

Part one was just filled with good stuff in retrospect

 

In what way? It's like all their other fights. Naruto and Sasuke do all the work, Kishi remembers Sakura's on the team and gives her something to do on the side.

All Sakura did was be used like a battery. Can hardly call that "team 7 fighting as a team" when it was the same as before, Naruto and Sasuke fighting like a team(disgruntled one at that).

 

The battle ended when Sakura snuck up on the Byakugan user and sucker punched her.

 

By using the greatest stealth technique ever, being so irrelevant that the plot never saw her coming.

 

I only watched the anime first, and got interested enough and begun reading it from the start the Shuppuden arc (the Itachi vs Sasuke fight was starting at the time). Due to this I'm not sure if it was as epic in the manga, but Gaara + Lee vs Kimimaro always gave me nerd chills.

I am quite surprised honestly it hasn't been mentioned already.

In all the other fights in which team 7 was together. Sakura only stood to the side never really aiding them in any way. She never fought with Sasuke and Naruto as she did in the final battle. Sure she was the "battery" as some would say for Obito, but who else could have dimension hopped? Sasuke, Naruto, Kakashi? However she was still able to support them as a legitimate team member. Even striking a debilitating blow which allowed Naruto and Sasuke to seal Kaguya.

As to the people who complain about Kaguya not using the "All Seeing Eye" that is because she was arrogant. Really Sasuke and Naruto where the only ones who can seal her so why bother with the other ants.

 

That fight was full of Deus Ex Machina and horribad, sorry.

First of all I don't believe Sakura has more chakra than Naruto could have provided via clone so her needing to be the battery was forced in the first place.

Second her ignoring them doesn't make sense because she has the Byakugan. That kind of situation is literally the primary selling point of the doujutsu. It's one thing to not pay attention to a lesser threat and get hit when you're not looking. It's another entirely for you to fully be able to see them and they surprise you anyway.

Then there's the gravity world. Naruto, Sasuke(both in Sage Mode), and Kaguya are having trouble dealing with the gravity but Obito and Kakashi are able get up and sprint to take an attack for them?
