This whole arc seems to be leading up to Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto becoming Sir Not Appearing In This Film.

Probably the only way to make Boruto relevant to anyone anywhere.

 

Meh, any serious threat to Sasuke or Naruto can't reasonably be solved by the kids. It seems like they'll just be stuck fighting those little albino looking kids.

If you'll allow me to hijack the thread for a moment...

I've been working on a Naruto blog the past couple of weeks called The Naruversity. It's based on a theory thread I made on TFF few years back and have been adding to ever since (along with TFFers). This is basically my attempt to publish my ideas on the series in a way that's more accessible than forums and reddit.

Obviously it's pretty barebones at the moment but it has (and will have) theories, worldbuilding, observations, jutsu explanations/expansions, original jutsu (which anyone is free to use, btw) and thoughts on how the series could have been different.

I also just added a page which I think would be useful for any fanfic writers here called "Databooks and Fanbooks". It's got links to the main collections for the databooks, images of the first two databooks, and a bunch of less well-known info from the first three databooks and the first two fanbooks. So if nothing else, I figure that section could be a handy resource and probably has something you might not have seen before.

I hope you check it out anyway. I've still got a lot of content coming.

So chapter 706? Naruto and Sasuke actually looses and Saskura of all people saves the day. Wat.

 

Sasuke is less of a shitty dad now and Naruto apparently didn't train since The Last.

 

This is great, Menace won't even have to think up new ideas to make the world in "No Genin Left Behind" look ridiculous, Kishimoto is doing it for him.

 

Still awaiting an explanation about why the mere chakra presence of Naruto and Sasuke don't cause these lesser mortals to explode.

The true plot of Naruto Gaiden is revealed. Sakura gets kidnapped and now it's up to Naruto and Sasuke to save her. All the while dragging Sarada and Cho cho along for the ride.

 

Because this isn't Bleach? Killing intent is something that very few of the Naruto generation characters have ever been seen to use, which is the only thing vaguely similar to spiritual pressure that isn't a genjutsu.

 

Sasuke once again conveniently forgets that he has Susanoo. Also seems like he should have a handle on the other Rinnegan abilities by now. I nice Shinra Tensei would have done wonders. Sakura is in a completely retarded situation. Why can't she just reverse summon herself away? Why is saving this guy even up for discussion?

 

Pretty sure he said that as more of a joke than anything.

Because he's the main villain(supposedly). So Sakura has to heal him and make him stronger so he can actually be stronger than Kaguya.

 

Two twelve year old kids around and Sakura is the one who gets kidnapped. Oh kishimoto don't ever change.

 

To be fair if ChouChou was kidnapped nobody would go looking for her.
