To me, it just seemed as if Kaguya was popping them from 1 dimension to the next. All of her dimensions were connected to each other, but that doesn't mean you could use her dimensions to give yourself a shortcut around the actual world where everyone else was or use it to travel into other dimensions that she didn't create herself.

If that were the case, she would have just teleported Zetsu directly to where the Elders were instead of having Zetsu try to find out where they were secretly.

 

Kaguya used the portals to her dimensions to phase out of one part of the battlefield and immediately phase into another several times during the climactic fight. It was how she got the jump on both Naruto and Sasuke more than once. The travel from point A to point B on the battlefield was instantaneous, meaning she spent no traveling inside her own dimension like Obito had to in his Kamui dimension.

I assume that she had Zetsu look because she was busy fighting. The implication being that while she can go anywhere in the cradle dimension from her own dimensions, she still has to know where she's going. That's why Sasuke had to look through her dimension first instead of immediately transporting everyone to Shin's location, etc. etc.

 

Huh. I always assumed that the rifts Kaguya used to get the drop on Sasuke/Naruto weren't the portals she used for transportation between dimension, rather simply a space/time rift that went from this spot to the other without any intermediaries.

Like the game Portal.

 

Look at when she seperated them. She opened a portal, stuck her arm in, grabbed Sasuke, and pulled him into a completely different dimension.

 

Better than a kiss.

 

Well, at least he was inside her. That's close enough right?

About Sarada's parentage, I thought it possible that Sarada's a clone. She might've been created using Shin (maybe by Shin himself) - which gave her the sharingan - and the Uzumaki genes from Karin in a attempt to recreate the Rinnegan.

 

I don't see why it's so difficult to believe Sarada is Karin's daughter. One of the underlying themes of Naruto is(was?) that the genin teams are like family. If your brother married someone (Karin) and had a child, and the mother died, and your brother was necessary to keep the world at peace, wouldn't you take care of your niece?

 

Except, uh, Karin isn't dead. Remember? She's 'in a different base'. And we see a single-panel shot of her older-self.

I mean, she could be very recently dead. But definitely not dead long enough to justify someone else taking care of her daughter from an age young enough that Sarada imprinted on Sakura as 'mom' and no-one else.

 

Or it even could be Sarada or Sakura's own umbilical cord or whatever it was in the desk, because Karin is creepy and isn't above stealing random things like that.

 

Viz scans indicate it being Karin's.

 

As in, someone said it was hers, or theres a little sign saying "this is karin's umbilical cord"?
