well that rasenshuriken was a "shadow shuriken" of kage shuriken infamy. so Naruto could well use the 5 second gap to chuck another mountain-destroying sized rasenshuriken and let pain get landed on by a metric tons of rock. in ch 433 he does 2 shurikens and still has enough for a double rasengan. now if that is an oops for kishimoto, then ok, it happens. (look at rowling) but if it is for the plot well...who knows?

Just would like to further point out that its amazing Katsuyu is still alive on Naruto's shoulder, considering all the beatings that Naruto took, not to mention a 9-tails transformation.

Hmm this last chapter, I read it yesterday and I have already forgotten all about it, which shows how good it was.

I've just noticed that Pein's clothing is hanging off him as a result of Naruto's attack, so Naruto half transformed into some giant fox thing, got trapped in a ball of stone and his clothing and he himself are in pristine condition. It's not a big plot hole seems a bit farcical to me though.

 

Yeah, I noticed that as well.

But honestly, I thought it was actually kinda cool. Finally we see Naruto fight someone where he's relatively untouched whereas the badass enemy is falling apart.

Meh. It just seemed rather significant to me. Pivotal. Shows just how far Naruto's come. lol.

 

How about you write a little bit more on that tasty fic of yours if you want to see Naruto being relatively untouched while kicking ass?

 

Its because the fox chakra covers him, it does not come out of him like the hulk. this was shown when he went 4 tails and when gaara went sand demon. plus that damn slug survived...

 

And of course going back into sage mode must of fixed all the holes in Naruto's jump suit when Pain nailed his ass to the ground a couple of chapters ago . . .
