Flashback really only made sense if it was a Redeemed! Nagato angle and that's what we have, though I hope Nagato's not slapping a power-up on Naruto in that last panel.

The best we can really hope for is that it isn't something crap, like giving him new freaky eyes or all the biju he gathered.

Its one of those annoying times where you feel bombarded by a recurring theme. Yes Kishimoto, we get it; Naruto's greatest power is his 'charisma', his ability to change people for the better, sage mode comes in at a close second. This reminds me of Dumbledore telling Harry his greatest power is love. *sigh*


I suppose it was a clever idea to end it where he did, even if you think its rubbish now you still have to read the next chapter.
