I don't think Gaara or the Raikage had anything to do with the Uchiha or any of Danzo's plans. Sasuke deciding to 'destroy all the kages' is just another one of those utterly retarded, incomprehensible things that seem to happen in this manga.

It doesn't really surprise me, I mean Madara basically came from nowhere and told Sasuke that he sent the Kyubi, therefore the Hokage's advisors were right in their suspicions that an Uchiha was involved, furthermore the clan went on to plot treason and he helped Itachi destroy them, yet Sasuke immediately decided his next course of action would be 'the complete and utter destruction of the leaf!'.

I may just give the next few weeks a miss...

I'll admit i'm curious....but I just can't run the risk of having to read Sasuke actually succeeding to kill any of the Kages with five of them present (or worse, he ends up killing more than one).

Honestly...? After Naruto's fight with Pein who was the Akatsuki psuedo-leader and strongest of the pack bar Madara I think 'might be' stronger is not good enough. It just shows where this is going.

Then there was some rubbish about Sasuke being stronger than or potentially becoming stronger than Pein.

I'm of the opinion that Sakura crying (combined with Naruto's kinda heartbroken facial expression as she did it) is supposed to imply that she's still in love with Sasuke and drive the last nail into the coffin of a Naruto/Sakura pairing in canon. I don't really give two shits either way, but that's what I read out of it.

...Also, I fully expect Sasuke to surpass Nagato in power. At the end of this manga, Naruto and Sasuke will be the two most powerful ninja in the world. That much should have been obvious for a long, long time.

A few point I found noteworthy:

- Marada dramatically declaring that Konoha is destroyed. A statement, followed by him inquiring who is the new hokage of aformentioned DESTROYED village.

- Sasuke deciding that's he's going to kill five kages for shits and giggles.

- Sakuras teary realization that Sasuke is, in fact, kind of a douche'. It's really good to see, that a couple of black ninjas from the Whatever village, could get this point across better than naruto getting a basketball sized hole, where his Thoracic organs used to chill.

First of all, Sasuke is not trying to kill the five Kage. That was a mistranslation made by the folks who posted to OneManga, as per usual.

He said he was going to the Kage summit to collect Danzou's head. That's it.

Sakura crying pissed me off and, if possible, lowered my opinion of her even further. If she's still "in love" with Sasuke, then she completely deserves the abusive, miserable life she'll undoubtedly have with him when they finally get together.

I am excited to see what Madara can do.

You know I was expecting Naruto to cry about Sasuke being in Akatsuki not Sakura. Could it be is Naruto slowly but surely growing up? Now I can't wait to see more of Madara

 

Still, can you imagine how pissed off they would be when he showed up? First: Not every country likes bloodlines, so I'm just hoping for a Kage to crush him when he sees the sharingan.

Second: Danzou would be like: "Ah, that guy? Just a teen that run away from our village. Oh yea, he also joined up with the akatsuki, which we all want to destroy, and atacked your brother,-whichever village killer bee was from-Kage.

Want any more tips oh how the leader of the top 5 ninja forces on the world would react to a missing-nin crashing their meeting?

I lol'd at the Sasuke's 'mistranslated' "I'll kill all the kages then" line. He might really say that. But hey, it's rather obvious that Sasuke is Marada's tool. And this Summit of the Five Kages was probably Madara's plan all along. He made Akatsuki into a threat enough to call such a meeting, and he's a Kage himself. Now he's having Sasuke attack the meeting. And he still has at least two S-rank missing-nins with him. Eh, who knows what'll happen.

 

Danzo is going to die.

 

I haven't read the manga (going to start it soon), but I'm up to date with the latest episode of Shippuuden, and I can't see any way that Naruto will be able to match Sasuke any time in the future.

It honestly seems like Sasuke has always gotten the better powerups when I think back through the anime.

In the first series, Naruto can barely do shit without the kyuubi. His reliance on kage bunshin pisses me off to no end, and a lot of his wins seem to come through luck rather than skill. His rasengan would be good, if he was actually fast enough to actually hit someone with it without elaborate and wasteful repetitive kage bunshins.

Even in Shippuuden his powerups have been pretty weak. He can't use the Rasenshuriken because it fucks him up, but even then the move isn't too useful because Naruto is one of the slowest characters around and he still hasn't evolved past using the kage bunshin as a crutch, where he seems to luckily always come out on top, even when it's clear his opponent is a billion times better than him.

Contrast to that, Sasuke is fast enough to wtfpwn him, Sakura, Sai, and Yamato in like 2 seconds in episode 53 (I think). He has uber speed and taijutsu, the full body chidori, and it seems like his Sharingan is advanced enough to do Itachi's wtfpwn genjutsus, as seen in the second most recent Shippuuden episode where he consumes Orochimaru.


Damn I didn't mean to rant. I just hope Naruto gets better somehow and quick, because Sasuke makes him look stupid.
