The battle of the two

Itachi and Sasuke threw many shuriken at each other.
During this time, Itachi used kagebunshin, while Sasuke (summoned) snake/s with the curse seal.
Sasuke was gradually cornered.
Following that, Itachi was about to take the eyes from Sasuke, who was restrained.
The chapter ends with Sasuke's scream.

Yes that's the part I don't understand too well...
I mean, if Itachi takes Sasuke's eyes, he won't have an eternal Mangekyou, 'cause Sasuke doesn't have it. Or would he have to awaken it by killing Naruto (since they were originally Sasuke's eyes)?

This is rather confusing...

 

Could be that he'll take ONE of his eyes... showing how big the gap is... then leave him the other to try to FORCE him to get the MS.

If he shows him that he can't possibly defeat him without it... then he either has to get it or give up, and he's pretty well brain washed Sasuke into believing he has to do whatever it takes.

Then again maybe it doesn't really matter. Who knows... but the spoilers are sure setting an interesting stage.

It'd be badass as hell if he lost both eyes and had to settle for normal eyes.
Naruto can't use the Kyuubi anymore... only seems fair if Sasuke got nerfed equally.

 

I don't mean fucked up as in bad... I mean fucked up as in: it's totally fucked up to have one or two of your eyes plucked out.

 

If that's the case, then I agree wholeheartedly; that is pretty damn fucked up.

If that spoiler is saying what I think it is (and next week's chapter/spoiler doesn't nerf it), I'll be very happy; almost as if Kishimoto had decided to pull his head out of his ass for a while. Probably not long enough to bring the story back where it belongs (Naruto), but still long enough to give me a semblance of hope.

 

Yeah, I'm thinking that Itachi awoke the ultimate form of the limit, but burned out the old eyes in the process. Like a light bulb being burned out by a power surge, only much slower.

As for Itachi's "Kill Bill" moment, I don't think he's gonna pull it of. (Atleast not with both eyes.)

Its about time for a Naruto clone to piss Sasuke off by saving his ass.

Though, to be honest, I'd love to see Kakashi open up a can of wup ass on the emo shit.

 

It's all an illusion of the mind. Uchihas are the masters of the mind because of that. Kinda like Xavier.

Also, Itachi could barely see if when they showed Sasuke through Itachi's eyes. So sasuke has a huge advantage. And seeing as the battle is gonna be a mix of gen and tai, it's gonna be sick. Not to mention there genius makes it even more crazy.

Can't wait.

 

Meh, from the looks of it Sasuke hasn't even gone lvl 2 yet with his curse seal. So, either it's a genjutsu, or Sasuke is going to activate his curse seal to stop Itachi from taking his eye.

I hope that Itachi rubs it in Sasuke's face that he needs the help of false power, power that isn't his own to be defeat him. Maybe it would show him that without the curse seal he is nothing. Without it he wouldn't have beat Deidara.

 

knowing Kishimoto, he'll probably give his boy toy another new and powerful dojutsu that renders all dojutsu useless and has the same abilities as the Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan.

He'll probably say because Sasuke absorb Orochimaru's soul (he gets an advanced healing rate because of this, no lie) the darkness of Orochimaru's soul and Sasuke's negative emotions (beginning to sound like DBZ...) will cause Sasuke to undergo a transformation (probably into a humanoid snake). the transformation will regenerate Sasuke's missing eye and mutate the Sharingan in to the God's Eye, which he;ll use to pull a Jeconais and destroy all realities and whatnot.

By then, Naruto will probably be a second character or some random unimportant guy with a demon in him.


i wonder, would "Naruto" have been better if Sasuke and Naruto's personality were reversed? their attitudes would have been justified, seeing as Sasuke would have been happy since the village glorifies him, and Naruto, angry and aloof (not emo), since he's the village pairah...

 

Has there been any confirmation about what the Rinnegan's powers actually are?

 

i'm not sure if the Six Path of Pain, the technique where Pein controls 6 bodies, is part of his dojutsu. So apart from that, then no, the abilities of the Rinnegan have not been revealed.

i do question it's strength though. It is said to be more revered that the Sharingan yet Madara (imo) controls Pein and Akastuki...

but given that the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan is a well kept secret, then maybe the Rinnegan isn't as strong as the world thought.

Madara being able to tame the Kyuubi is so BULLSHIT, though. I would have preferred him being able to rival the Kyuubi in strength since but TAME?! damn, i'm ranting now...

 

The Six Paths is a part of the dojutsu. It's why the first Rin'negan user was called "The Sage of the Six Paths." (http://manga.unrivaled.info/showimg.php?file=/Naruto/373/Naruto_373_03.png)

As for Madara controlling Pein... he can probably use the Eternal Mangekyou to render the Six Paths technique useless. If it weren't for those Six Paths, Jiraiya would've won, so Madara wouldn't have much more trouble.

And Madara didn't "tame" the Kyuubi, he summoned him. You can't "tame" the Kyuubi. If you're an evil, best friend killing bastard, the most you could do is suppress his chakra.
