I'm thinking Danzo himself. He was the Sandaime's rival, and he didn't show any medical jutsu skills in his battle with Orochimaru. I'm thinking pre-cripple Danzo was a battle medic like Kabuto/Tsunade, but haxxier.

 

Itachi should've foreseen everyone would try to get a sharingan and killed every Uchiha with two quick stabs to the eyes. He's not that awesome anymore.

IIRC the process behind Yamato's creation was invented by Orochimaru, and as mentioned it has a low success rate (out of sixty subjects Yamato was the only one to survive the process). Even if Orochimaru's research and methods are duplicated the fact that most of the subjects die from the implantation process is a big deterrent; most of the time 60 normal ninjas are better than one ninja with a copied bloodline limit.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Sharingan can be harvested for a short amount of time after the owner's death; maybe as long as the eye can be viably transferred the Sharingan goes along with it.

 

IIRC, Itachi's attack wasn't a surprise attack. He knew that the Uchiha were going to rebel on the next day, and most likely the higher ups knew that, hence the massacre order; so it is pretty likely that Danzo knew the general timeframe of Itachi's attack, at least, he knew enough to be in position to harvest sharingans after the massacre.

 

The real question here is:

How does Danzou pick things up without sticking himself in the eye every time?

I would be disappointed if I hadn't already started to accept the fact that retarded shit is going to occur in this manga, possibly frequently.

So does no-one in the clean up crew post-massacre notice that quite a few Uchiha corpses are missing eyes or missing all together...How curious.

I'm having massive lolz at how confident Danzo is about using his Sharigan covered arm to defeat a rather talented Uchiha (Sasuke) and the former master of said clan (Madara). Madara's mastery of all things sharingan should really make the whole thing (Danzo) moot.
Keeping in mind how things have gone so far though, I'm just waiting for Danzo to remove the rest of his coverings and reveal his Byakuchest!™ or to upgrade Shisui's mindcontrol sharingan to a Mangekyo with the Anti-life equation.

 

How did that mizu guy spot that one sharingan in Danzou's eye-socket and miss the dozen in his arm.

Really I'm with Howdy on this one. He can't even make a fist without messing up an eye.

 

Sferics, I assumed that's that the thing he had on his arm was for, or at least hiding them was a side-effect of whatever else it did.

 

To be fair, Ao did say he saw Shisui's chakra in Danzou's eye and arm.

 

I have a feeling I know what Sasuke will look like after he kills this guy....

This explains quite a few things about Danzou. Imagine Poking your eye out everytime you try to jack off, no wonder Danzou is high strung. No stress relief for Danzou; Thats the price you pay for the Sharingarm.

And thats also how he gained the Mangekyo sharingan on all those eyes. Repeated poking. XD

It would make a lot of sense in Danzo had the Mangekyo though; certainly he wouldn't hesitate to fulfill the conditions for it considering that he puts all of his operatives through that process already. Considering the fact that using a Mangekyo's power eventually leads to blindness and each Mangekyo seems work a little differentely, if all those eyes are Mangekyos then the Sharingarm would almost be less utterly stupid/bizzare. Having that many different powers and plenty of eyes so that the blindness is less of an issue kind of makes sense, though I'd still think creating a bunch of Kakashis would be a better move.

 

IIRC, Danzo doesn't put his followers through the process first implemented by the Bloody Mist. That assumption was made back before the first run-in with Sasuke post time skip, but Sai denied it. Sai's friend died of illness, Sai didn't kill him. If this is wrong, please correct me.

 

It's a bad drawing of the tomoes which makes a few look nearly MS.

Still, I bet they'll combine with his main in his head which has to be MS in some way.

We all know it would be the only way Danzo is so confident in fighting Madara this way. If he has some kind of MS trump card to rape Madara with. Maybe all those 3 Tomoe allwos him to see through any illusion?

 

He is fighting Sasuke not Madara from my understanding of the last chapter. Furthermore, Danzo is supposedly quite powerful in his own right so he would be rather confident. I do wonder what they are going to do with all of those eyes once Danzo is dead though.

 

well, it seems that Madara has his own collection so he'll probably take Danzou's if Sasuke kills Danzou.
