Just remember that using the Sharingan takes a lot of chakra, especially in one who isn't an Uchiha. There's a reason why Danzou, like Kakashi, covers all of his Sharingans up 99% of the time.

If he has the MS, then expect him to be able to use it only a few times, much like Kakashi.

 

It's pretty much what I'd expect from Danzou's character, though.

And it's believable, given what we now know.

I find it funny, however, that Danzou reached the height of his power when he was so old. I still laugh at the Nagato vs. Hanzou flashback where he's nowhere to be seen after the first page.

If Danzo doesnt have a MS, Sasuke is going to rape him like a little bitch. Although Sasuke will probably have Danzo screaming like a little bitch by the time its over anyway.

 

IIRC it's stated that of Sai's friend died from illness before their fight to the death would have occured (which would explain why Sai's not quite as much of an emotionless robot as the rest of Danzo's servants).

 

That's what i thought when I saw them as well. There are dots between the tomoe so the horrible drawing/scan is the reason for some of them looking like that. Besides, Kakashi has Obito to feel guilty about but I don't think Danzo's got anyone with the way he acts.
What he might have though is a ridiculously huge jutsu library in his head by now. It shouldn't really matter against Sasuke and Madara; Amaterasu burns its target no matter what. One amaterasu on the sharingarm and he's going to have to amputate -like with the Raikage.

But that's probably never gonna happen.... :-(
At least we know why Danzo didn't really take action with Naruto before now... I guess he just wasn't worried about the Kyuubi.

 

As for how no one noticed a few corpses/eyes missing from the massacre, it can be explained easily if we assume that Danzo inserted ROOT agents into the cleanup squad. He already knew the massacre was going to happen (and most likely ordered it), and he had a day or two to prepare, so it's not impossible that he could have gotten his agents placed in the cleanup crew.

Granted, there's no real reason to believe this; I'm just trying to rationalize how Danzo stole so many sharingans right under everybody's nose and a likely full scale investigation.

 

All of the higher-ups in Konoha were in on the Massacre, so it's not hard to believe that the eye-stealing was covered up.

Hell, Sarutobi may have even known that Danzou had collected some Sharingan. They may not have gotten along, but it's pretty clear to me that Danzou is vehemently bent on defending Konoha, and Sarutobi likely knew this. If a few eyes go missing, who's he to make a fuss?

And before anyone says "but Danzou tried to overthrow Sarutobi with Hanzou's help," I'll remind you that that wasn't the case. He allied with Hanzou right about the time that Minato became Hokage, so it's pretty clear he was working towards the Hokage seat legitimately (sorta) at the time.

Danzou has never made any power plays against the established leadership in Konoha, and I think that this says a lot about his character.

He wanted to become hokage so badly he was willing to risk all the life's of the villagers for it, that is not someone who wants to protect a village, that is someone who is hell bent to get power, no matter what way. He may have been cool, if he didn't have sixty sharingans all over his body and if he did give a damn about this village but as he is now, he is unlikable, stupid and ridiculous.

I for one would not be surprised if he had Sharingans on his crotch or had an attack named "Sharinganarmfisting".

 

I quite agree. When he was first introduced he seemed like he might end up being halfway reasonable; wanting to kill Sasuke as a threat to Konoha makes a lot of sense, especially as it became increasingly clear over the course of the story that Sasuke was beyond saving. Then he went from "asshole who does what he thinks is best for the village" to just plain "asshole" during Pain's invasion and the aftermath. Right now all he's good for is being so unlikeable that I can actually root for Sasuke to kick his ass, because at least Sasuke's not quite as bad as Danzo (yet).

 

There's no way that Danzou could have known how powerful Pain really was. He wanted to sit back and let Tsunade handle it, and possibly be taken out in the fighting (which happened).

He also killed the messenger toad so that Naruto wouldn't return to the village and Akatsuki could not achieve their goal.

 

He cares about nothing but his own power. He couldnt give less of a shit about the village as long as he still had power. Now he is about to die, a painful death that doesnt really do his crimes justice.

My only complaint is that Naruto doesnt know just how far he has gone.

 

I'm still...utterly confused about the purpose of the arm sharingan. What's the difference of grating sharingan eyes into your arms compared to grafting them into a dog's ass? Neither have the proper nerves to allow one to do anything with the sharingan.

Hell, I'd rather see a dog with the sharingan. Give it to zombie Pein so he can get over losing his pet.

 

Only real purpose I can see for the Sharingarm is if the Sharingans were Mangekyos, since that would allow Danzo to spam the Mangekyo attacks powers without worrying nearly so much about burning out the eyes. That probably wouldn't work though; Kakashi is drained to the point of needing a lengthy hospital stay just by using his Mangekyo two or three times, so Danzo can't do Mangekyo attack spam unless he's got some other trick up his sleeve.

 

I don't think Sasuke will ever be as bad as Danzo. Sasuke has a reason to be pissed off at the village they isolated then slaughtered his entire family before making him grow up alone thinking his brother, the person he used to look up to, was some huge traitor. Danzo is just butt hurt that he isn't in charge.

I don't really get the whole village being so pissed off at Sasuke like it isn't their fault that this whole mess happened in the first place. His family wouldn't have tried to rebel had it not been for the village trying to force them out of positions of power. You reap what you sow.

With that being said Sasuke needs to nut up or shut up. Start sneaking into places and doing some good old fashioned attacking people in their sleep or when they are wounded. These ninjas seem to over complicate things with all of their overly elaborate plans and fair fights.
