Yes, because physically possible is a valid argument compared to all of the other physically possible feats people seem to accomplish in this manga.

Also, Karin isn't dead yet. Medical-nin to the rescue! Here's hoping for a little Karin/Sakura action.

I quite agree; that's partially what I meant when I said Sasuke was using the wrong attack in the first place. It's a continuity error, and there's no way Sasuke could ever use that attack on a giant bear in the first place.

My point was that, in the broader scheme of things, which attack Sasuke uses to beat the giant bear and save Karin's life really doesn't matter all that much.

For some reason I have a bad feeling...that Sasuke will kill Kakashi. Perhaps sending Naruto in a rage and causing him to go apeshit on Sasuke when they finally fight.

I hope not though. I hope Kakashi beats that ass until Madara is forced in to save Sasuke.

I expected more buildup for Sakura's attempted backstab; not surprised it didn't work though. I am mildly pleased that my prediction was vindicated, though.

I don't think Kakashi's likely to die right after Kishimoto pretended to kill him off during Pein's invasion.

At a guess, I would say that once Naruto shows up we have Naruto vs. Sasuke and Kakashi vs. Madara.

 

And that right there is the only time we'll see Sasuke laugh, maniacally or not, in the entire manga.

I really don't know why i keep coming back to this shit. I realllllllllly don't know. I guess I'm holding out for the Sasuke-ass-kicking that I'm pretty sure is never gonna happen, cuz there's always someone who pulls his cum-guzzling-flaccid-asshole out of the fire.

 

What logic is that? Kakashi isn't that powerful. The only possible way he could defeat Sasuke in 3 moves would be due to the fact that Sasuke is all sorts of fucked up right now what with all of those other fights he has been in recently. Irrational Sasuke hate aside, Sasuke is essentially one of the most powerful ninjas around. Should Naruto be more powerful? Yes, but it would appear that the author likes Sasuke more hence the crazy power up shit. Probably wishes he'd have named the series Sasuke as has been pointed out in this thread over 9000 times before.

Is Sasuke a whinny little bitch who is butthurt because the people of the Leaf treated his family like shit until it got to the point where they were attempting to rebel and thus ended up getting slaughtered? Yes. On the other hand seeing your entire family get slaughtered as a child and having your brother betray you only to find out he protected you is enough to fuck anyone up. I get tired of coming to this thread and reading the same old shit every time there is a new update. "OMG I can't believe I'm still reading this" and "Emo Sasuke needs to die" get old really fast. Either stop reading it or stop posting just to update people on how much you can't believe it's not butter. /rant

As for this chapter, it was fairly predictable. The next chapter is a bit of a toss up. I figure Sasuke is going to kill Kakashi much in the same way Orochimaru killed his old master. A symbolic student surpassing the master moment. It is probably the only reason Kakashi didn't die when he died. Naruto will rage, and eventually Sasuke and Naruto will have to fight it out to see who is truly superior (shadow clones aplenty), and Naruto's will shall guide him through as he'll pull of some impossibly elaborate plan to take out Sasuke though he probably won't kill him and they will all ride off into the sunset in a perfectly peaceful world.

 

Yeah I have my money on Kakashi dying. Sending Sakura away to square things up. Parallels with the 3rd and Orochimaru...

Ugh. Sasuke's character's really trite and disgusting. He's as cookie cutter as Orochimaru, but at least Orochimaru was presented as a weirdo with a snake fetish.

 

Kakashi will dominate Sasuke and Madara will come to save him just as Naruto arrive.

There's no way Sasuke can have the chakra to fight Kakashi right now.

 

But it wasn't even this. It was all Madara and his damn xanatos scheme. But, of course, Sasuke is too wrapped up in his own fucked up life to see any of this. The whole thing is shaping up to either Sasuke redeeming himself somehow or 'seeing the light' with his dying breath. Then it'll be the uphill battle of anyone left alive against Madara.

Everything Narutoverse has been set up as parallels. It gives an interesting perspective on what could happen based on what has happened. It's just too much of a kick to the balls for Kakashi to be kept alive before only to die to his student now. Sadly, my money is on that happening too.

Of course, no matter how much we bitch, we'll keep reading cuz it's more addictive than crack.

 

What's funny is that I'm not annoyed with what's been happening in the manga lately, what does annoy me is wtf happened to Kabuto. Last we left he was going to hunt down Sasuke and avenge Orochimaru. Is he still looking? Because if so, he is a really shitty hunter. Everyone and there mother has been able to find Sasuke by now. I want to see some hybrid Orochimaru/Kabuto fighting, yet it doesn't look to be happening anytime soon.
