While the flying part was a bit:facepalm, it was more awesome than other stupid things we've seen lately, so I can accept it.
All in all, this chapters set the potential for some awesome fights. Tsuchikage = win. I half expect Kishimoto to fuck it all up, I guess we'll see.

 

For all those bitching over the Tsuchikage's flying, it might be some sort of gravity manipulation like the shit Nagato could do. In which case its all :awesome not :facepalm.

But seriously, the fact that you're all bitching on that instead of focusing on the upcoming Tsuchikage/Deidara fight is :facepalm-worthy all on its own.

 

I'm more pumped up about Naruto Vs Kabuto fight. >_>

Also, chapter was wholly awesome. The giant animals were win, as I personally see them as an In-between Normal Animals and Giant talking summons. Also, as far as as flying Tsuchikage is concerned, its all cool. Why is Diedara flying on his bird win while a Kage using some other technique to fly uncool?

While the dust thing is not entirely explained, I personally very much like it.

 

I wasn't bitching - I was (and still am) genuinely confused.

 

Deidara was one of my favourite Akatsuki characters so I'm happy he's back in action. Don't really care about the Tsuchikage flying since so many other characters have done it beforehand by various means and we had one guy create a fucking mini-moon to house Kyuubi!Naruto. Flying without aid is the least of the plotholes in this manga.

 

This is exactly what would happen if they were independent. Itachi and Nagato would turn around and beat the living shit out of Kabuto and the rest of the reanimated Akatsuki. Hell either one of them could probably take out the other Akatsuki much less both of them. Would be a quick way to deal with all the Zetsus though. I personally wanna see what happens when Sasuke sees Itachi.

 

A rematch happens. Only this time, Itachi won't hold back, nor will he be hindered by disease anymore. On the other hand, Sasuke has unlimited MS. I still think Itachi would beat the living shit out of him.

 

Sasuke has unlimited MS, but the people brought back by Edo Tensei have unlimited healing, which means that Itachi's eyes would heal indefinitely.

Their eyes would be even, but Itachi's a fucking beast.

 

Agreed. When you consider the fact that Itachi was an ANBU captain at the same age that Sasuke graduated, Sasuke had Kakashi as a Jonin, and Sasuke was trained by a Sannin, and Itachi, on his death bed, could have easily killed Sasuke after holding back? Itachi is clearly superior in nearly every way. Sasuke's only real advantage is his new eyes.

 

Keep in mind, I think Itachi would win, hands down. But Sasuke can probably use his MS better. Could Itachi use the archer Susanoo thingy?

He did use Susano'o. But Itachi's own technique was slightly different and if I remember correctly, some kind of Armour. >_>

Yeah that's right. Sasuke completed the technique with the archer and all, unless Itachi didn't use it fully on purpose, only using the shielding properties not the archer thingy which is a thing I'd see itachi doing, not using his MS to the full extent due to vision loss and wanting to lose and all.

 

Coming to the point where he needs to use Susanoo, I don't think that the vision loss would be on his mind.
And Sasuke has used the standard Susanoo, but also used the Archer one, which I think was mentioned somewhere as an advanced state or something.

 

In a reasonable world, Itachi's skill with the MS would be far better than Sasuke's since he has had it for years and Sasuke has had it what a few weeks at most? Another point in Itachi's favor is that he was apparently compentent enough to not be forced to use the MS in every battle the way Sasuke did. It took Itachi years to become as blind as he was. Sasuke did it in a few days or weeks.

 

Also, Itachi's Susanno uses a special Sword of Sealing.... Sasuke's just uses a bow that fires chakra?

 

Maybe if you get hit with the bolt, you also get sealed?

If I recall correctly, Sasuke never actually managed to land a solid hit with that version of Susanoo. Until it's explored more in depth, we really have no way of knowing which Susanoo is superior, or who even utilizes their version of Susanoo better.

 

Being sealed was a unique characteristic of the Sword of Totsuka. Sasuke's is just gonna blow shit up, all he's good for, anyways.

 

Bottom line if a rematch happens and a healthy if dead Itachi, who is no longer holding himself back and still has his eyes, should smack Sasuke around like he did when they were looking for Naruto in part 1. And Nagato will make sure nobody else intervenes before they both turn around and make Akatsuki into mince meat.
