Ninja'd on Kuriarare Kushimaru (should have expected it in this thread). He is hax. Most of the others swords were meh. I didn't like them much besides the Lightning two.
As someone already stated, that's good and all, but it's time for some Naruto, hopefully with less angst and more ass-kicking from his part.

 

Solidly. And by Kabuto, no less. I rather enjoyed the imagery, that Kabuto used Haku to block Kakashi's blow (and not one of the other two non-seven-swordsmen). He's one sick motherfucker and the recent chapters are much better for it.

Somehow I keep getting the feeling that its Kakashi who'll land the killing blow Kabuto in the end, maybe at the cost of his life or something.

 

Do you think that this map that Kabuto have with him is something in type with Maruder's map - that it shows location of specific individual ?

It better fucking not. Kakashi is one of the last few strands keeping the series good. They cut Jiraiya, if they cut Kakashi too, I'm outa here.

 

Agreed. It's like Howdy said: his consistent awesomeness keeps him as a top of the line character. With him dead, only Gaara would be left of the truly awesome part one characters.

 

Doesn't anyone else think that Kabuto played himself into a paper bag with this scene? It's an obvious re-enactment of what happened in Wave, and it'll probably trigger some emotional baww, releasing Haku and Zabuza from his control.

 

Or Kishi could just have a totally awesome fight between Kakashi and a Zombie-Haku/Zabuza. Chop off a limb? Grow it back. Take a lightning covered fist to the chest? Hold on for Zabuza to cut Kakashi in half. And then regrow the half of your body Zabuza chopped off.

Yesssss!

This is the best chapter in a long time. Kakashi is going to give Kabuto a greatsword enima. Also, Gaara vs. 2nd Tsuchikage will be boss.

 

The image of Kakashi on page 15 talking about how pissed off he is, is quite possibly the most badass image in the entire series. Kakashi is about start tearing some people to shreds until he gets to Kabuto. Best chapter in a long time.

Kakashi calls himself the man who copied one thousand techniques, maybe we will finally get a chance to see Kakashi use some of them.

 

Nice fakeout of Kakashi dying. Definitely a good chapter, especially with the flashbacks.

If all the battles are this short, I'll actually enjoy reading them. Gaara vs. Other sand user will be an interesting fight.

 

They are ending so quickly that it feels like it's not Naruto anymore.

But I like it. Short and intensive battles are how a big war should be presented, not like Bleach did with Battle at Fake Karakura Town. We will have time for another multi chaptered fight once it will be Kabuto or Madara vs. big guys from Naruto side.

 

/wanted to see Kakashi fight Sakumo.

It's nice that things are picking up now, but it's a bit too late for me. Fairy Tail has captured my attention. Seriously, if you haven't read Fairy Tail yet go educate yourselves!

 

Yeah, its clear that while the tone and pacing of the latest chapters are very different from the rest of the series, they are so blazing, ridiculously epic that it actually transcends lame and comes out awesome.

The only problem is that they have more cool villains than they have cool heroes to fight them. Sadly, some cool characters introduced (eg. Dan, Hizashi, others) are probably going to missed in favour of giving the main cast a one on one fight and skipping ahead to the climactic battle.

But still, Kakashi bringing up the fucking Kubikiri Hocho? Shit is going off the chain. The best part about it is getting to see all these characters who even in fanfiction get little to no development actually becoming real characters. Plus, seeing Kakashi vs Sakumo, as well as Neji vs Hizashi (probably) will be cool, because how can he not put those together.

 

I thought, it was the end for Kakashi, with all these flash backs and sentimental crap ...
