Meh. Plot hole they may be, but they are still the best streak of chapters to date. Let's not look at it too much.

Good chapter, I hope we will learn more about skills of other kages as well! I would like if it'll be know about all great ninjas in history - meaning all kages and their abilities.
Kabuto said that he was grave robbing for some time, and we must assume that Orochimaru had also some collection of famous ninjas' DNA for Edo Tenso use. There is the fact that I do not remember seeing Kin-Gin brothers being resurrected, but they are shown later with division.

Summary, for those of us who don't want to watch a video?

 

A bunch of manga panels and some conjecture about Naruto having the Rinnegan at the end of the manga.

 

You need a little bit of power from both descendant clans to awaken the Rinnegan. Nagato got his from Madara, and Naruto's Uchiha power was the infamous crowjob. The Juubi will be reawakened, Sasuke will find redemption and have a taking you with me battle against Madara. The despair of Sasuke's death awakens Naruto's Rinnegan and he reseals the Juubi becoming the new Messiah of the ninja world. Interesting theory, but very unlikely. Nagato was random peasant boy number 2 until his parents were killed/Rinnegan awakened. Its honestly unbelievable that Madara would be going around crowjobing everyone with any connection to the Uzumaki's in the vain hope that they might meet the prerequisites of the Rinnegan. Ah. That does draw some interesting parallels with 666 Satan's ending - I'm still convinced they're going to go in similar directions - same family upbringing and such.

 

The fuck is wrong with the anime? I tried finding the episode where Sasuke met Naruto and shit, and couldn't make heads or tails out of them. Seems they have once again indulged in filler, and filler from the first part as well. Just ... :facepalm
This is the last time I went to the anime, cool fight scenes or not.

 

Yeah, the anime has been in filler hell for a while, since they wanted to let Kishimoto build up more lead time with the manga. After all, getting a bunch of filler in between arcs is better than having the anime suddenly grind to a halt halfway through the big final battle because it's caught up with the manga or taking the padding up to DBZ levels.

 

On the other hand, think what epic fillers can be done with the whole war going on. Or showing flashback to second war with characters that fight in both of them. Of course, I doubt creators of anime will use this potential, but still.

 

New Naruto is up.

Decent chapter, but I have a bad feeling that the plot might end up dragging a bit if they keep jumping around so much to all these different battles.

 

Wow, reminded all over again just how incredibly useless and unimaginative Ten-ten's abilities are.

 

Agreed, Kishimoto needs to focus on one battle at a time before moving on. I find myself blinking an having to reread sometimes when I'm not ready for a scene change.

In other news, Darui's a boss, though black lightening is kinda cliche in my mind.

It's the same thing that he did during both Konoha Invasion arcs, and personally I sort of like it. Keeps you on your toes and lends to the mayhem of the battle. We won't be sitting around waiting for 20 chapters to find out what happened to character X like we did with Bleach.

Then again, I think they addressed Darui as the guy who inherited the third's technique, so maybe that doesn't make sense, hmm...
