Looks like Naruto is finally going to do something. About time.

 

Damn, after reading the title I was hoping for a painful death of one of them... so disappoint

 

And yet another shit chapter, with only more talking to look forward to. Any bets on how long the Iruka-Naruto talk will last?

My money's on three chapters :|

 

Personally, I'm surprised that Naruto stopped examining animal genitalia long enough to realize there was something going on.

 

Does anybody out there actually give a fuck about Chouji? Why are we getting chapters dedicated to him?

 

Well, now we know why the Akimichi have some respect in the shinobi world, though it still looks retarded.

 

Iruka's speech should be something like : "Shut the fuck up and follow your orders Naruto!".
Really, I don't see what else it could be. What could Iruka possibly make a speech about at this time?
Enough Chouzi already.

 

I suppose its more of the 'pass-the-torch-to-the-next-generation' theme...

Shikamaru's had his moment with Asuma's death ('protect the king' speech), we had Kakashi praising Kiba and calling him the best tracker they have and saying the Inzuka are proud of him, Shino, Neji and Hinata have had their moments in the sun as well, nothing needs to be said about Naruto and Sakura's a failure.

I guess Chouji had to be next...

I'm just relieved Naruto's finally caught on at least a little bit. He's looking far less stupid than he has generally been in the last 25 or so chapters.

 

Yeah, glad to see the stupid is going down in Naruto. Atleast a little bit. I'm also thinking, Bee wants to join the fight too. I'm guessing he intentionally let Naruto go. I could be wrong though.

As far as Chouji is concerned...it seems Kishi is going to make him a major character as he seems ready to wipe out all the clones or smething. Or it could also be the opening for Nagato and Itachi to enter the fight.

One other interesting tidbit that stood out for me was the whole Sarutobi and Akimichi-Nara-Yamanaka clan relationship. It seems it was no coincidence that Asuma got that particular team. I'm guessing if there was a Ino-shika-cho group in that age range at the time, then the Sandaime would also have had to train that particular group only. >_>

Makes for an interesting fanfic plot...16 year old sage Naruto travels back-in-time/to-an-alternate-AU/or whatever, becomes Jounin sensei for the Sanin while Sarutobi is honour bound to train a Nara-yamanaka-akimichi team.

 

Or, you know, he could have had siblings. That, and that Sarutobis-train-Inoshikacho-trios thing is kind of farfetched, tbh. It's said nowhere that the Sarutobis have always trained them, unless I've been an idiot and missed some fine print.

Kishi was probably looking at his character designs and was like "Oh shit! All of them wear earrings! I should turn that into something! OH OH OH, and I can say that the Sarutobi have a part in it cause for some reason I feel I have to justify Asuma being the sensei of the the Inoshikacho!" Yeah, kishimoto probably pulled 80% of that chapter out of his ass the week before he wrote it.

 

You think he doesn't do that with 99% of all the chapters he writes these days?

 

A new chapter is up. I can say only one thing - it's about damn time for Naruto to enter this fight. Let's hope we'll see it in the next chapter instead of showing someone else battle with his past.

I don't know why, but I really liked Iruka in this chapter. He gave Naruto his support without disobeying his orders, which emphasizes their relationship despite Iruka being a rather minor character.

I'm getting Dragonball flashbacks again.

 

My only trouble with this chapter is how stupid everyone seems to be. Pain destroyed Konoha single handed, and the only one able to fight against was Naruto. Did they really think they could force him to stay somewhere? And that was before Naruto learned how to handle the fox chakra.

I'll rage if Naruto doesn't go berserk in the battlefield and slaps everyone aside without any effort.

 

The idea of Iruka, a chunnin who teaches, stopping Naruto is retarded. Naruto busted free in half a second and the rest of them were suprised why? As someone else said this is Naruto who beat Nagato, who single handly bitch slapped Konoha. The idea of someone other than Bee, Kakashi, or a kage restraining Naruto for more than a split second is ridiculous.

But this chapter was far better in my opinion than the last few. Pretty much since Kakashi decided to go all out, which I can't wait to see, the chapters have been disappointing all the way down to complete and utter Shit. Maybe it was the return of Naruto but this chapter was far better.

Im wanting to see Kakashi and Naruto go crazy on these bastards. Kakashi vs Itachi part 3 and Naruto vs. Nagato part 2

 

About fucking time! Totally agree with liking Iruka in this chapter. He's exactly as he should be. A consummate professional who still manages to support Naruto without breaking his orders.

My only problem with this chapter was that it felt rushed at times, though that might just be because I'm used to things dragging on forever in this manga. I'm hoping that Naruto is able to shift into both Kyuubi and Sage mode as he did in this chapter from now on. Looks like he's finally turning into the boss everyone wants him to be.

No, I'm pretty sure it was the right decision to send Iruka. It's not really about the power, because Naruto's already the strongest person in the village. So might as well use emotional attachment to keep him there. Iruka's pretty much his closest family.

That said, thank god. Naruto's finally going to fight. Hopefully he mastered that tailed beast chakra ball already.
