If it was kakashi fighting white zetsus I imagine it was like Kakashi tearing through Narutos clones in training. One blow one kill repeated 1000 times. Now if it was Kakasi vs powerful dead people that would be good.

The idea of raikage and tsunde stopping Naruto is funny. Muchless Bee and Naruto.

 

I would love if Kishi actually had one of the rookies die, just for the fact it will show he's not afraid to kill off his characters he's worked so hard to develop, although he seems to always bring them back like he's afraid of killing them and getting negative responses, sort of like how the Deathly Hallows seemed like a copout to deal with the Horcruxes, etc.

I actually looked at a list of who was ressurected and I was suprised to find how the people actually have skills aren't there, but people who's bodies should be long gone are.

E.g. Sakumo Hatake for one example was hyped up, but isn't there - probably because of the scene about a hundred chapters ago.

And Hizashi - I'd have thought Kumo would've destroyed his body in anger while keeping the eyes...

 

The Endgame is probably nigh, unless we get new arcs after this one, which would be stupid.
Kabuto is probably right, Madara seems to be getting either desperate, or impatient.
Way to making it seem like the Alliance was winning and then telling us that they're cut down to half of their original force, Kishi.

 

I never get that - they have a near immortal man who gets impatient, surely he's experianced in waiting -- or the fact they have been waiting for so long is what makes them like that. =) Voldemort was the same, for someone with Horcruxes he sure was in a rush to kill Harry.

I was honestly suprised when I saw the figures, although it'd be interesting to see the ratio, like wether it's 20% each, or wether Konoha has 30% of the total ninjas, etc...

 

I think that Madara realizes that if he fails here he's never going to get another chance at completing his plan. He's obviously been preparing for this moment for decades - if he blows it he might die of old age before he can recover and give it another shot, and he'll have lost the element of surprise.

Despite how overpowered Madara's skills seem to be, I still think that a lot of his supposed "power" is based in smoke and mirrors. Just look at how easily Minato took him apart the last time he tried to recover the Kyuubi. There definitely is some urgency here on his part.

It's because they had no names. Even if they were called Michael Jackson, Bob the Builder, or Justin Bieber you could relate more to someone with a name. Add in the fact some people might cheer at the latters death...

 

The fact that Minato beat the shit out of him doesn't mean he can't take every single person of the Alliance out for breakfast.

But yeah, Madara has skills, a lot of them, but I'll be surprised if at least Naruto can't fight him on equal footing at this moment.

 

Didn't Minato immediately after the fact say that no, he could not defeat Madara? I mean, I agree that he's probably wrong in saying so, but uh. I do remember that being part of the rationale.

What Naruto did to the Kyuubi at the end was pretty awesome, it looked as effortless as escaping the shadow binding.

The argument didn't make sense, who will hate who when all this is said and done? Madara should be dead, Sasuke will become a good guy or die and there is no one who would mourn at this moment and time.

Anything that would happen afterwards happens because of power plays or some such.

I did like Naruto wtf pwning Kyuubi though.

 

The academy scene made me gag. I also don't really like Kyuubi referring to Sasuke so personally. I can sort of understand with Naruto since he completely wtfpwned Kyuubi in a show of dominance (twice, counting this chapter). But I've never imagined Kyuubi stooping so low as to refer to a vanilla human in such a way.

The only thing I really liked about this chapter was the final scene with Naruto and Kyuubi, to be honest. Meh.

 

How do you expect them to improve in taijutsu? It's not something unreasonable.

 

Have to agree there; sparring is a pretty integral part of learning any martial art, so it makes plenty of sense that there would be sparring matches at an Academy that, among other things, teaches martial arts.
