Just a point of contention- manga translated by fans, for fans is called scanlation, because of the actual scanning of pages involved. Scan+translation=scanlation.

They're not subtitles. Subtitles would mean we would leave the original Japanese text in the bubbles and put English translations underneath them.

But yeah. You can expect the Naruto and Bleach scans to be out within a few hours. I don't know about One Piece, but that should be coming out soon as well.

Damn, I wanted more of Itachi vs. Naruto fight. Still, Uchiha's prodigy proved that he's a master of the prep time on the level of Batman.

One thing I find depressing - this is probably the highest point of the manga. I don't think that anything coming later will be able to be more awesome than this fight.

 

Fucking awesome.

This just shows- once again- that Itachi is on a whole other level to most people.

Nagato with all the powers in one body? I'd love to see a pure Naruto vs. Nagato fight...

Itachi's plan for Sasuke was actually decent, he wouldn't mind brainwashing his little brother for the greater good.

Danzo is shown to have more ruthlessness than I thought, I thought he got the eye after Shishui died, not before... so his uberness is +1'd.

 

That's going to be a thing from now on. Itachi as Batman.

Someone needs to write that, stat.

Also, did Nagato just pull out Naruto's soul?

Shisui giving up one of his eyes to Danzo for some reason, and then the other to Itachi? That makes absolutely no sense. :facepalm

 

This chapter was pure awesome. Itachi is one of the very few characters that gets more awesome with each appearance he makes. Minato is another. Gaara too, to a smaller degree.
Itachi's plan was surprisingly intelligent, not something Kishi is famous for.
Yes, shit is hitting the fan, but I am really worried. Now Itachi is back in control, he can just curbstomp everyone, but I fear that wont be the case. I fear Itachi will die in a 'let go' kind of way. That will suck. A lot.

 

Maybe Kishi is trying to make Sasuke even more insane? Seeing your dead brother- the dead brother that you yourself killed- walking around alive on the enemies side? Bound to make him think he's going insane...

 

I'm pretty sure Human Path used to rip out souls. Nobody is curious about that?

 

Yea, but remember that Human Path used to lay hand on head and suck the soul out. He now lays it on Naruto stomach, where kyuubi seal is. I think maybe he can suck the soul of kyuubi from Naruto, power of nine-tails will remain as it is now separated. Naruto will remain with it powers, without any drawbacks ?

 

Sounds too.. fanfic-y. Like something you'd read late at night, shake your head at and find another story to read.

 

It's interesting to find out that there were more MS users running around in Konoha.

Nagato is going to be a bitch to deal with, but more panel time for him is always a good thing. Not sure what the result of using Human Path on Naruto will be... every time we've seen him use it before it's been fatal, and Madara's words on the subject indicate that that is always the case.

 

Naruto dies, Madara wins and proceeds with his plan. End manga.

 

I'm conflicted about this chapter. On one hand, Itachi and Pein were pretty awesome, Naruto was not obnoxiously stupid and the fact that Shisui was had the Mangekyo is surprisingly cool.

On the other hand, it doesn't really make a lick of sense that Danzo got Shisui's eye. What, was he a member of root too? Was Shisui also cool with the death of his whole clan? How did he get his MS? Obviously the "kill your best friend" is not what it takes.

Dunno, it was weirdly awesome and dumb at the same time.

 

From the way it's written, Shisui didn't give up voluntarily; Danzo took it by force.
