Immortal Itachi back from the dead meets an already insane Sasuke, oh the mindrape that will occur.

 

I say if that happens Itachi beats Sasuke to within an inch of his life. Even if sasuke has the PMS, I would bet on Itachi.

Looks like even Naruto is capable of forgetting his friends. Also, Sasuke is going to get beaten if Itachi's to be believed. And here I was, thinking that Naruto would use his Therapy Style on Sasuke and they'd return to being BFFs.

 

Jiraiya would be quite surprising since in an earlier chapter it was said that his body was too deep in the sea to recover so we got the idea that he would not be brought back.

That being said, it is obviously one of the clones Naruto sent out in an earlier chapter. You can tell by looking at the hand. It has the "firey" effect that Naruto has when he is in his kyuubi mode. Not showing his full body yet is probably just a gimmick.

 

That only prevents him from being used as a body by Nagato.

Kabuto only needs a bit of DNA. Something Orochimaru could have easily had from the early days, or Kabuto could have easily collected in the establishments Jiraiya has visited.

But, yeah it is Naruto/'s clone.

 

Bit disappointed Naruto needed another lecture after all this time, but it was Itachi, so I can live with it.

Even Kabuto and Bee acknowledge his badassness.

It would be a twist for it to be Jiraiya, obviously, but it would have a dramatic meeting between Naruto and him most likely.

Although Onoki must be having a heart attack if it is Naruto, a flash of yellow plus the Rasengan...

 

I liked it. Naruto needing yet another speech was annoying, but I saw it coming a long time ago really. Ever since he unlocked the Kyuubi mode he's been all about dealing with a problem he sees as his own. The cliches of letting your friends help you were eye-roll worthy, but it was softened by Itachi being the one to pretty much say "Bitch, please."

The rest was decent IMO, which is about as much as I'll say for any chapter these days. The Mizukage fight had some lulz, Temari remains competent (I'm waiting for her eventual death), and the promise of Itachi vs Kabuto and Naruto curbstomping some old Kages has me actually looking forward to next week.

Also, how sick was the second colored panel?

 

Itachi is officially the bawsiest of all bawses behind Jiraiya. Minato comes in close at 3rd though.

Liked the chapter. Didn't mind the speech, since now Naruto will stop acting like a little cunt. Mizukage scene made me crack up pretty hard.

Hope it's Jiraiya with the rasengan, but as others have said above, it's probably just Naruto. If Jiraiya was brought back he'd curbstomp some bitches.

 

I'm actually really hoping it's Jiraiya, and knowing Kishi, he might bring him back just for the whole emotional scene that it will incur.

Oh, and Sasuke finally shows his new eyes.

 

Kishi seems to love overdesigning those eyes of theirs doesn't he? Whatever happened to the relatively simple pinwheel design that actually made sense.

 

I really hate the character of Naruto by now. His design sucks, his techniques suck, his dialog sucks and his actions suck.

Mizukage was rather lulzy again.

Raikage's deeds seem so...fabricated, for the lack of a better word. Kishi really sucks with numbers.

Was glad to see Sasuke finally killing Madara's guys. Was about time.

Overall, meh chapter

 

The original was ugly enough, but I suppose this is a fitting combination of the two. I want to see what happens from Naruto's overuse of the Kyuubi.

EDIT: Naruto technique's seem pretty effective to me. You'd rather he be the handseal using variety and shoot dragons and lightning from his fingers? I suppose the Rasengan, and all it's variations, have grown on me. Though, two rasengan's rotating around a big rasengan was kind of meh.

 

what exactly did this new Rasengan do that the old, normal Rasengan wouldn't have done? 'Cause I am pretty sure, that would have slammed the 2nd Tsuchikage to the ground just the same. The only really good innovation on the Rasengan was that it can be thrown now. All the others are pretty much redundant.

I really wish he would use something else. The Rasengan isn't as flexible of a technique as it is made out to be. New forms are simply shoehorned in when the basic rasengan would have done the exact same job. Heck, on anyone without an immortality sort of jutsu, the basic rasengan is already deadly.

 

Finally. Maybe now we can have the last fight between Sasuke and Naruto and move on. I'm really tired of Uzumaki thinking how to save him/"kill" him. Also, it would be nice if for once Sasuke needed a training in using his new superpowers, instead of having an instant ridiculous power-up. Even Naruto took a few moments to learn controlling the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.

 

I didn't like this chapter...
1.Both Sasuke MS and EMS are ridiculous.
2.Naruto is idiot who soon will run out of "fuel".
3.Third Raikage is another one kage who sacrificed himself for others, it's probably what Naruto will do and gain post mortem Hokage position...
There haven't been even one kage who was evil, selfish leader not caring for his people etc. In past I though that Fourths Mizukage and Kazekage, as we find out now both were good guys (one controlled and other loving his village).
