I suppose this "Perfect Susanoo" requires the Rinnegan. I'm just glad this shit will be over soon.

 

At least we switched the battles to more interesting one, but Madara really didn't need to have another upgrade. With EMS, Rinnegan and the First Hokage's DNA he has already too many other techniques that can be described as "ultimate".

I like that we're getting back to the action, but perfect!Susanoo? Really?

 

Oh man. I just love the corniness of this manga. Itachi's final sacrifice/ ultimate technique thingy is just him telling Kabuto to 'teach him the seal that stops it'. Every other fucking thing in the manga is dramatic as fuck and it takes one panel of wooden dialogue to end the Edo Tensei.

And yeah, more sharingan powerups. My question is, how the fuck did Madara learn all of this shit? He was only alive for like forty years before the fight with Hashirama (where they both looked fairly young) and in that time he learned like fifteen 'ultimate' techniques that could beat pretty much anyone in the current world. What happened to 'each new generation must surpass the others' etc.

 

That's easy...

They will surpass the previous generation not through skill, but through passion, love, and friendship...

Eh. That saying was probably true, even in the generation that had Hashirama and Madara in it. It's just that these two were monsters. Exceptions, rather than the rule.

 

^ Not true Third Raikage was stronger then Forth. Freaking hell he took a FRS to the face didn't even get a scratch.

 

He was stronger, yeah, but it doesn't really matter how strong you are if you can't catch the teleporting flake.

 

I assume that some of it is written on the Uchiha tablet. On top of that Madara lived long enough to know about Nagato so he probably only died 40 or so years ago.

 

He would almost certainly have died if he was not an edo!zombie. Remember that according to Tsunade, a major feature of FRS is that it kills by millions of tiny blades shredding the targets entire cell/chakra-structure apart. That would not do anything to an edo though, who could just instantly regenerate those damaged cells. A living Raikage however would have died through a form of "FRS-poisoning".


As for the chapter and Madaras powerups, I wonder where the story is going to go from here. I mean right now Tobi is looking pretty weak compared to all the stuff Madara keeps pulling. It seems more and more likely to me, that even if Itachi will succeed in stopping edo!Madara, we will eventually get a real living Madara via some other resurrection method. Not sure how I feel about that. Madara is starting to look a bit silly here with his armies of clone susanoos and super-duper-hyper-susanoo that he pulled from his ass here.

And yes, Madara did have to live for a while after his battle with Hashirama, since we know he awakened the rinnegan and knew Nagato. Though I do kinda wonder why the Madara at the time did not wipe out Konoha?

I mean if he was critically injured and constantly near death, then how the heck did he master all these super abilities? Planning for Nagato to resurrect him makes perfect sense, if he was basically dying after the Hashirama fight, but certainly Madara would not be inventing super-susanoos if he was on deaths door. But if he was not dying, then why did he not just use his new rinnegan and super-susanoo to attack Konoha. Presumably with Hashiramas power added to his own, he would have been powerfull enough to win. I mean what could Hashirama have done against 25 Susanoo clones and 1 super-susanoo Madara, all with rinnegans.

The whole thing does not really make sense to me at all anymore.

As for Itachi, could he possibly have made things harder for Naruto? Why the heck could he not do the smart thing and apologize to Sasuke and explain that the Uchiha would have died anyway in the ensuing war and so on. He could even lie, if thats not what he believes. Instead, he openly states that he has no attachment to Sasuke and then goes on to say that "don't worry, Naruto will fix you". Could there be anything more likely to make Sasuke try and kill Naruto and NOT listen to him, out of spite if nothing else.

 

I could have sworn it was his mega-uber lightning armor that protected him from the FRS. Yeah...it was.

You asshats, how long did it take Sasuke to learn and 'master' his Mangekyou techniques? Seems instinctual to me. It's a fact Madara didn't have these techniques when he was alive...case in point, he didn't gain the Rinnegan until shortly before he died (most likely from age), nor could he use Mokuton (at least not well) and from the last panel, the Rinnegan is a component of the 'perfect Susanoo' as well as Mokuton, and he stated, quite clearly at the start of the battle, that he had been resurrected beyond what he was when he was alive.

 

Its been established that Wind beats Lightning, and we saw exactly that happen when the Raikage both lost his armor and was down for the count for a brief period. There would probably have been enough FRS-effect left to "poison" the raikage. I think he would not have got back up if not for edo-regeneration, since FRS has been established as the pinnacle wind technique. I guess this is unimportant though.

I wonder why Sasuke has not gained this perfect Susanoo if its instinctual? Unless maybe you are right and he will, and Madara is actually foreshadowing it. That might actually make sense. The kages push Madara back and show they are not total losers in this chapter. Madara then uses this super-susanoo thats maybe established to come with EMS (in the next chapter maybe), but before he can fully show us what it can do, Itachi ends Edo Tensei and Madara and his super-susanoo vanish. Then we are left waiting for the Naruto vs Sasuke fight where we know Sasuke can pull out this new Susanoo thanks to his EMS.

Right now, thanks to Narutos new Bijuu Mode, the chakra he got from the other bijuu and the huge bijuudama he can throw, he is quite a bit over Sasuke hypewise. This might balance the scales.

 

Err, ever since Madara was ressurected I was under the impression that the true Madara did, in fact, die in the Valley of the End and that Tobi was siply twisting facts. Was I mistaken?
