I love how Kakashi is just randomly powering up. He's just throwing around Kamui and Rakiri-like Jutsu as if it's going out of fashion. Kakashi is all "Oh there's a lighting kunai heading for you don't bother dodging I'll just teleport it." Am I the only one who remembers that he died from using Kamui three times when fighting Pain, he's just casually throwing it around, not even tired.

Also, it's an end of the world situation we've got. Kakashi being reckless fits how he's reacted to other situations (Orochimaru faceoff, Pein attacking, etc...)

 

Well thats the point really. The second he gets a chance to touch Naruto and use the soul-ripping thing its all over.

 

Yeah but Kakashi has almost constantly been at the forefront of the battle, and he's somehow basically managed to improved his chakra capacity more then he did when Naruto went on that three year training trip. Although I do remember seeing somewhere that Chakra increases from using high level Jutsu, not sure if it was Fanon or Canon, so it might just be that.

 

I thought Kakashi died from a kunai to the chest when he fought Pein...

And chakra... it's like a muscle. A brain and a bicep put together; you learn shit, one part of your chakra increases; you train your body, and the other part increases.

 

Not a bad chapter, though not much plot progression happened. I think Kishimoto just wanted to devote a chapter to showing just how outclassed even four of the strongest characters in the manga are against Tobi.

It's looking more and more to me like Tobi is the older heir of the Sage - the first Uchiha. There's just no other way to explain how he knows so much about the Mazou and other archaic stuff. Knowing that it would be immune to Kakashi's MS seems like rather particular knowledge.

His phasing is so crazy powerful that I have to remind myself that at any time he could come out swinging with pretty much any super ninjutsu that's been shown in the manga.

 

I hope an actual reason is given as to why Kamui didn't work on the Gedo Mazo, seems way to convenient to just leave it unexplained.

Also, Minato fought Tobi about 16 years ago. That's like eons in Manga time. I mean Tobi probably went through what goes for 100 Gravity training in Naruto. Its not even a comparison. Also, Tobi now has the Rinnegan. From what I got (and I could very well be wrong), Tobi's weapon uses that repulse ability thingy from the rinnegan.

 

I thought Minato won against Tobi too easily anyway. Since Minato and his jutsu were already famous and Tobi had seen the jutsu in action earlier in the fight then he should have seen through Minato's plan.

 

It's just not possible without the most epic twist in manga history... and it would have to be a bad one.

Most folks who have a brain don't believe it's Obito.

He would literally be a teenager, a-la Kakashi, when he fought Minato. He would have no reason to know shit about things like Izanagi, Kakashi's MS, the Juubi, Akatsuki, the Gedou Mazou, Madara, Rinnegan, controlling the Sandaime Mizukage, jinchuuriki weakness at childbirth, warp ninjutsu, basic MS ninjutsu at all, or anything relevant to the plot.

I will say right now that if Tobi has anything to do with Obito I will relieve my very last ounce of respect for Kishimoto.

 

Tobi was suppose to have given Nagato the Rinnegan. Obito would have been like 5 or so at the time.

I'm not sure when this happened. All of the Akatsuki are alive, so it's just after Naruto arrived but before the Suna trip? This Limited Tsukuyomi is supposed to be part of canon? If so, Tobi still hadn't given up his fool disguise so it doesn't make sense.


By the way, this movie keeps getting more and more awesome. Hinata and Sasuke win at everything.
