Chapter brings nothing new.

 

Well, not quite nothing...it did bring to the table drawings that pretty much perfectly describe most of our reactions to new chapters:

So Itachi gives Sasuke the mangekyo, the susano-o, the amaterasu and rids his cursed seal (which seemed to do jack all to him negatively). Sasuke might well have gotten the eternal mangekyo as well with that last forehead touch and with it the power to control the Kyuubi.

Naruto's boned. There's being the underdog and there's being curbstomped by Space marines as prehistoric neanderthals.

 

I think that when Naruto and Sasuke fight it will go like this. Sasuke will be kicking Naruto's ass the whole match using uber jutsu upon uber jutsu along with uber Sharingan jutsu and superior taijutsu. Then Naruto will hit Sasuke once and win. Kishi is going to do the Naruto vs Neji fight only with Sasuke. Neji whupped Naruto's ass the whole match, then Naruto upper cuts Neji and wins. That's how the Naruto vs Sasuke fight will go.

 

lol, Sasuke goes all out using various elemental jutsus which Naruto has no counters for, impeccable taijutsu that Naruto can't even match, the M. Sharingan and it's subsequent techinques supress the Kyuubi and fucks up Naruto mentally and physically on another level. then Naruto pulls a Kage Bushin Switcharoo (like the whole Kakuzu fiasco) and just KOs Sasuke.

i would love it though if after all that, Naruto calls Sasuke a dumb-ass bitch
since all that power he attained didn't do shit against the one person that really matter: Naruto. Ah, a foolish man's dream...

It's basically official. Sasuke V Naruto Finale will never happen now. Sasuke is way to fucking good, and will now end up helping Naruto.

I think there is still a chance that Naruto can surpass Sasuke. Why? Because it's a fucking manga.

 

Rids him of the curse seal?

That was one of Sasuke's primary weapons against Naruto, was it not?

 

No curse seal + Itachi wanted him to help Konoha + Sasuke's second goal + Sasuke no longer needs to kill Naruto for MS = Pro-Konoha Sasuke.

He no longer has any reason at all to fight Naruto. And Naruto hardly has a reason to fight him if he'll come back quietly.

 

This is the point where I mention how it was the village that arranged for his family to be murdered. So it's unlikely that Sasuke is going to suddenly become pro-Konoha again.

 

Right, but he'd tell Naruto, in the event that they meet, and well, how do you think Naruto will feel about that?

 

Do you read a lot of shonen manga? It is entirely possible that Sasuke will become pro-Konoha simply to be with his 'precious people' (Naruto/Sakura/Kakashi) again.

 

It is possible, but it is also possible that Sasuke sees the village as the reason that Itachi did everything. And so joins Madara and then we would still get our Naruto vs Sasuke battle, hopefully.

 

Or he gives the appearance of being pro-Konoha, but he is really planning on working a mass assassination of the upper brass, from within the village, that had to do with his families massacre.

 

And then won't be able to carry it out because of his new family.


I'm telling you, if Sasuke ends this manga in opposition to Naruto, I'll punch myself in the nuts.
