Supposedly the lack of a real body was holding Madara back or something. He certainly seems super pleased about it.

Also, he can't make himself the Jichuuriki of the Juubi if he isn't alive. That's the way he plans his whole moon's eye plan, after all. He has to personally controll all the Bijuu to enforce his will on the world's perception of reality. So, you know, has to be revived to do it.

 

Nah. It just will be Madara who will revive them.

 

Or, Obito was able to resist enough to still be able to bring back everyone else. He just brought back Madara, too.

 

Jahahahahahaha this was priceless. Obito tries to do exactly what we all predicted he would do, but then Madara lolno hijacks him.

That was awesome. Madara just got elevated in my opinion because of this chapter and his last few panels.

 

I wonder, is there is a difference if ninja have one rinnegan eye or two? I mean, does it make rinnegan-techniques more powerful?

 

As to whether or not regaining life makes him stronger . . . whether it does or not, doesn't he seem like the type of guy who would actually get some thrill out of or enjoy the possibility of dying? He's made it pretty clear that a lot of what he did when he was alive was about the pleasure of fighting Hashirama, and now that he's alive again, able to put his life on the line and put his existence at stake again, he might just be feeling good whether he's technically more powerful or not. But chakra does have a spiritual component, and perhaps it is in that respect that Madara grows more powerful, from feeling more alive, more in the moment, sharper and better precisely because he no longer has the zombie immortality of Edo Tensei, under legitimate pressure and therefore at his best.

But he's going to eat the fruit anyway, so his mortality at this moment is somewhat inconsequential. There's also the possibility that he had to be alive in order to consume the fruit.

 

He distinctly seemed to believe that being alive would make him stronger in some way. We'll see...

 

I hate cheering for the bad guys, but when Madara hijacked Obito's technique I was laughing sooooo much. Madara being alive makes him stronger, because plot. Or something.

 

It makes him stronger but also the ability to die now.

Something about actually being a living person or someshit, you know. The quality of a living, breathing body with blood pumping through it's veins and skin for wind to blow over, etc etc.

Eh. At this point, everyone just spams their best moves like they're shuriken. Plus, no one has cared about physical wounds in a long time. Battles in Naruto are not decided by wounds or chakra capacity anymore, you should know this.

 

You need to be alive to be the Juubi Jinchuriki and alive to eat the fruit from the God Tree. Pretty obvious why Madara is frothing at the mouth being alive now. Plus the risk of being able to be killed and no second chances because of regen and hax chakra, he seems like the kind of person who would rather be fighting with his own talents, not that of someone elses jutsu.

Last panel made me laugh. He pulls the best faces.

You think he didn't let the kage's blow him up so they could watch him regenerate on purpose?

Pretty big moral hit seeing your enemy stitching himself back together when you finally manage to land an attack that would kill anyone else. Also, knowing you wouldn't be killed by an attack would make you a bit less caring about being hit by things that would normally kill you don't you think?

It will be interesting to see if he still has Hashirama's face now that he is alive. One would assume he would become the perfect Juubi Jinchuriki, compared to Obito who only had the Uchiha part of the puzzle. Uchiha + Rinnegan + Hashirama's DNA, he's as close to the Sage as one can get, unless Naruto is in someway closer, being his reincarnation we presume.

 

I was actually talking about when he and Tobito got nailed by Naruto/Lee.
