How was this expected? Kushina was considered special enough that she left her home to become the next Kyuubi Jinchuuriki (and got kidnapped for her power) and no other Uzumaki was shown/said to have this power until now, including her son. And Karin sucks in general.

Wow first time in a while I've been wanting to read more when a chapter ends.

How exactly are they going to win though? Unless they both get revived and do a fusion dance I don't see them having enough power to really finish this.

 

And Karin is considered special for being one of the best sensors in the series. We've only seen a few Uzumaki fighting. Anyway Karin doing something special isn't that surprising considering that going beast mode to save your precious people is something of a theme of this series. The level she used it at was still pretty far out though.

 

Not quite the same as possessing special chakra capable of controlling the Kyuubi and strong enough that it's considered an exception even among the Uzumaki.

Sigh. I suspect Kishi will explain the mechanics of chakra chains after this, but I would have preferred it if he'd done it before this scene to justify it rather than leave it for a surprise.

At least Sakura ran to Naruto, not Sasuke. Wonder if Kishi knows giving mouth to mouth is no longer recommended? What's even the point of trying to revive someone who died from magic?

Yup, one of the shittiest chapters in awhile.

All so she can get to her 'precious sasuke-kun'. Lets not forget that Kishimoto created an Uzumaki for the EXPRESS PURPOSE of making her Sasuke's Bitch.

There is literally NO OTHER REASON for her character. She nothing more than a mental blowjob to the idea of Sasuke as a character and the Uchiha as being Supreme/Awesome while being a direct slap to the concept of Naruto as a character.

Really hate this chapter, and it reminds me why I hate Karin's character concept so much, too.

 

I've wondered for a long time if that black material that covered Obito's legs is composed of the same material as his staff. If it is then Madara's whole torso appears to be covered and that shit tanked the Juubi's bijuudama awhile back.

 

Karin is probably going to use her chains to help pull the jubi back out of Madara. Also I wonder who is standing next to Sasuke at the end? Any thoughts?
