I think the opening of Tenketsu is Fanon, but it may have been in the Manga and I forgot. Though unless Kishimoto makes Sasuke lose I'm going to only believe Fanon facts anyways, so I guess that's ok.

I actually somewhat enjoyed that- well, besides the uber!bite-my-arm healing power. I was not only surprised that Sasuke had actually gotten hurt, but also that the others really were helpful in the fight and were needed rather than getting in the way. Hopefully in the next chapter things stay the same rather than Sasuke suddenly taking over the fight with his mangekyou or maybe his new chidori whips and chidori complementary t-shirts.

 

The eight tails is a Bat right? So could the screech be him bringing it out?

Yes I thought that the eight tailed beast may be a snake of some sorts.
Yamatano Orochi was just a reference to the legend, not to the beast I thought it would be. Kishimoto could have used this legend and changed it a little bit to fit his needs. And in most fanfiction (before now) where the eight tailed Jinchuuriki/Bijuu is mentioned, it is a snake, so I was not alone on this...
But an octopus, yes, that is a nice solution

 

Where did you get that Jon? wasn't in this weeks issue. And who is to say he didn't keep the Orochi but change his eight heads to tails.

Lol, It would be funnier if he was a butterfly, "Floats like a butterfly" What would it do? All the other animals can attack and defend but what can a butterfly do? Give his host a thirst for nectar?

 

If you can't figure out what kind of attacks could be used for an animal/bijuu...last resort:
Look if you can find a pokémon that has the same animal as basis and take it's attacks and change them into a ninja-style attack.

So for a butterfly: Some kind of wind attack, poison, spores and maybe some very pretty effect (a little bit like a Veela, can't find a better thing/person/etc. to compare it with)

 

So it would have, Poison powder, Sleep powder, Charm, and Gust? LOL, I would so read a Naruto story if they did that.

Naruto: Cute look, Growl, Flame wheel, Fire punch.

Gaara: Harden, Dig, Gust, Sand slap.

Yuugito: Scratch, Charm, Leer,...?

 

You'd think Sasuke would use his Mangekyou to defeat a clearly superior opponent.

Like some kind of pokémon/Naruto x-over, just without the pokémon.
All Ninjas (besides special cases like Lee) have the three basic (Bunshin-Kagebunshin in Naruto's case, Henge and Kawarimi) and four special moves plus one personal special move for this ninja only. You can learn and unlearn techniques and the Jinchuuriki are special because they have twopersonal special moves and an extra set of four attacks.

Naruto: Sexy no Jutsu, Rasengan, Bushin Bai... (the exploding bunshin technique) and ...the new version of the Rasengan? Tajuu Kagebunshin? Something else?

Super healing, stamina, chakra reserves

...

In the games when you have a pokémon you've got through exchange and it is far too strong for your current level, it doesn't listen to you and may even harm yourself...so Naruto's level isn't high enough for the Kyuubi and his techniques and it backfires. But with a higher level...

I just hope it doesn't turn (again) out to be a Genjutsu, maybe not yet, but hopefully not later either. Where are the times where a Genjutsu was just a little whirlwind of leaves and Sasuke's corpse to get the fangirl screaming and feinting? That was enough, but it all went downhill after/during the Gaara-mission at the beginning of Shippuden.
