To be honest, I was hoping Pain would bring Jiraiya as a body. Then again I would be surprised if he didn't lose at least one body attacking Kohana, so I have hope for the Pain vs Naruto match up.

That and I was hoping 'nature' charkra would be the key to the 4th's teleporting technique. Ah-well . . .

 

It's still possibe. At any rate, whatever jutsu he was testing out was not Rasenshuriken or any variation of it (no mind-numbing damage around him). I'm thinking this is the "that jutsu" Jiraiya spoke of at the beginning of Gaara retrieval arc. Quite possible it is the 4th's technique.

Killer bee is fucking awesome and I'm glad he wasn't made to look like a one fight character. I loved Madara's reaction to the whole situation, as well.

 

Yeah, this chapter was good. Killerbee being alive was good stuff. I think this is going to be our chance to see Madara let loose. With Sasuke gunning for Konoha I think Madara will go after Killerbee now.

Pain is bad ass. Him fucking up Konoha is awesome shit. The barrier thing caught me off guard, I was like "Really? No shit?" Despite it's potential for plot holeness it will be nice to see fanfiction where the bad guys scoff at the terrible security of Konoha go away (compliments to li.u at ADD for this comment).

 

I just thought of something. Killerbee has escaped and Naruto has just finished his sage training. I expect that Naruto will beat the next big enemy he faces with that training, but when he goes on to Sasuke or Pein it just won't be enough. After all, Jiraiya failed against Pein and he's had god knows how many years of being a toad sage.

So my theory is... Killerbee will meet up with Naruto and teach him to join with the Kyuubi, just like he did with the Hachibi. It does sound like somethin Kishimoto would do, right?

 

That theory has already been thought of. It is still possible but not likely. The chances of them meeting like that has to be either coincidence or sheer luck.

 

I actually think that's a good idea. I hope it happens. Naruto will need Kyuubi if it can fight against genjutsu like the Hachibi could.

 

Sheer luck? Naruto is unusually lucky.

Well, maybe we ignore the luck-factor and go with the VERY high coincendence-rate.
Fascinating how nearly (or maybe even all) major Clans have children the same age group, how the son of the Yondaime was born at the exactly right time needed to become a Jinchuuriki...
and we didn't even start at the beginning of any real plot here!

Face facts, Naruto is all about the right timing to get the story going, so why not (Killerbee meets Naruto etc.)?

Everything is nothing but one big coincidence. Novels, movies, anime. Naruto's the same. But...i suppose i see where your going with this. Naruto had some of the eccentric teachers then anyone else. Kakashi, Frog Hermit, an old Frog, a school teacher with a nasty scar lol

Killerbee is just another one i suppose.

 

Wonder if he likes Icha Icha Paradise... and ramen. You can automatically tell if a person is good or not based on whether they like ramen. For example, Mizuki hated ramen.

 

Best chapter in a while- for the first time in a while it was better than the one piece and bleach issues out this week.

 

Now would be a good time for Pain to kill off some of the useless side characters like Chouji, Kiba, Anko and the like. However, what I really want to see is Pain going Shang Tsung on Tsunade just as Naruto arrives.

That was the best chapter in a long while. Here's hoping that he can keep it up.

Tbh, I really can't see Naruto beating Pain with just sage mode without vast amounts of plot induced stupidity on Pain's part. Hell, just look where it got Jiraiya. This bitch is going to eat that Rasenshuriken, probably bust out another Mortal Kombat move and stick one of those rods into Naruto and he's fucked. And once you somehow manage to defeat the self resurrecting haxxed bodies the real deal will pop up, who is probably Nagato and at the very least on Madara's level.

And I really don't want Madara to turn out as the final bad guy . He's a bloody joke.

 

Madara is a Joke? Wow....that doesn't say allot. Because so far, he was the one who was behind everything that has been going on. I don't know how he could be a joke. And killing off useless side characters? i rather like those side characters and killing them off would do nothing but hanging a death sentence for the manga.
