I wouldn't mind if he killed Shikamaru. Actually, I would be quite pleased.

That is what really needs to happen.

 

Kishi couldn't kill of Neji or Fatass when he had the chance, what makes you think he'll do it now, especially to a popular character like Shikamaru? If Shikamaru does ever die (he won't), it'll be in some overly heroic fashion, complete with a long flashback, dramatic dialogue, and a pregnant woman (see: Asuma).

The last flashback was for Jiraiya, and he's kicked the bucket, so don't expect anyone of any significance to die any time in the near future.

As for the coincidence that is Naruto's life? Well, they mentioned a prophecy a few chapters back, one where Naruto's supposedly a "saviour" of some sort. Expect massive power ups, kyuubi fusing, or some other lame thing (if Naruto ever joins with the Kyuubi, it should be for a kamikaze attack, seriously, it's completely uncool for him to get such a massive powerboost in such a lame and unfulfilling way).

At least Kishi held off on the prophecy until now, but honestly, it's dissapointing that he's had to fall on such a device to carry his story out.

 

Be careful who you call a fat ass. lol this guy killed one of the sound four who picked up rock that looked like it weighs more then 30 tones, if not more.

In my opinion, the prophecy doesn't have much to do with the plot. It was more of a trigger to propel the story forward. Because so far, the prophecy was only mentioned a couple of times and even before shippudan, the show was well done without such a plot device. And so far, the prophecy wasn't mentioned to Naruto or barely anyone else and even then, the story is going forward.

I think you guys are seriously underestimating Kishi here. And i think Kishi isn't falling for such cliche traps that other anime's usually fall for.

And so far, these guys who thought such a manga fails seems quite happy with the latest turn of events.

 

I still think this manga is a piece of shit, and I wish I never picked it up in the first place, or just let it die before Shippuuden started. Like I've said many, many times, at this point I'm just reading it to see it end.

For me, Naruto is an unintentional source of hilarity. However, if he does manage to keep the ball rolling as he has recently then it may be somewhat enjoyable for a while.

 

The only people who are really happy with it at this point are Uchihatards. >_>

Though even that might change seeing how Bee barrel rolled and pwnt Sasuke and Madara. KEKEKEKE ^_^

 

I don't get it. How are they happy? Not only did Sasuke lost his regenerative abilities, but other abilities that Oro was capable of when Saskue still had the portion of Oro within him. Not only that, but sasuke's eyes are slowly being consumed because of his new power.

Naruto however is continually getting stronger thanks to the sage training. And thanks to the sage training, with little to no difficulty, he could pick up 30 to 40 ton statue with very little nature chakra. That is some serious strength.
Naruto is probebly going to complete the other half of the rasangan by adding in the nature chakra, which will probebly balance the rasangan to the point where there would be no draw backs. Especially seeing as Nature supposed to represent balance. But thats my little theory i came up with anyway.

And then the yin chakra of the demon. That power is still locked away somewhere just waiting to be opened. Yea....this is quite a bit to go before Naruto series is finally over.

 

It would be cool to see a few of the Rookie Nine die. The series started out so strong with the wave arc and most of the chunnin exam, but then it traded in its ninja realism (as realistic as you can get when everyone has magical powers...) for fan-girl service.

Although the death of Jiraiya and Asuma, were realistic and had excellent emotional back story, it's still a manga about Ninja, who fight to the death and such, more people should be dieing. But, that doesn't mean that everyone needs to die, akin to Gantz, where its just a constant bloodbath.

 

Gantz is ridiculous. Not only do characters die every 5 pages, the other ones bring them back to lie every now and then, just so they can die a second time.

Violently.

I think I stopped reading it after he (main character) lost all his memories, right after he brought everyone back to life again. It was a fun manga to read, but it's a bit too repetitive.

Hmm, if I could pick one of the 9 to die... Hm. Perhaps Neji? No, wait, probably TenTen. She doesn't have any backstory either, so Kishi could provide us with it, and then kill her off.

 

lol didn't you see the scene when one of the six Pein took out the soul of the konoho ninja? lol

And saskue killed hundreds of people from what i can see.

If you want violence, go read Battle Royal. A class of grade 10? or Grade 5? i can't remember. They were put in an island. Survival of the fittest. Only one comes out alive. heh brutal. No reviving or anything.

 

Well Pain is looking for Naruto, so he has to find someone who will know where Naruto is.

And I don't think he's gonna pick a fight with Tsunade or anyone near her level. I doubt he wants to loose another body and he probably intends to recover/destroy/kill the captured rain nin and his missing body as a secondary goal.

Are you talking about that scene when he was with Orochimaru and the snake ninja made the comment that Sasuke is better now then when he was that age? If so you are wrong, Sasuke did not kill any of them.

Reread that chapter, it was then that Sasuke made a point about not willing to kill anyone but Itachi.
