At Jump Festa 2008, Kishi was asked some questions about the manga by Junko (VA Naruto), Noriaki (VA Sasuke), Chie (VA Sakura) and Kazuhiko (VA Kakashi) on the stage.

 

More Sasuke next year... god damnit. I'm really starting not to like Naruto canon at all, but I still have to know how the hell it ends.

Kind of like how Harry Potter was, now that I think about it. Hopefully the Naruto ending won't be as bad though.

 

...Naruto has to wait...he's the fucking main character! Why call the manga Naruto if you aren't going to have him be the central focus? Should it just be called Shinobi? Cause that is what it is about, information on various shinobi that aren't the main character.

We all know already that the big Kakashi 'surprise' is that Tobi is really Obito and he's gonna have to deal with the fact that his 'friend' never died, and that he will probably have to kill him. Because Tobi is a good boy.

I am going with the idea he is Obito's body with Madara's spirit. Tobi...hmm...if you move the T past the I and add an O after the T you get Obito.

ah come on guys. All the best comes last. There is no point in centering on naruto all the time. Besides, the best comes last and thats naruto. heheheh! Naruto ain't the main for nothing.

 

There's the problem. With Kishi, I can't be sure that's really the case.

 

And thats why people read the manga even if they don't like it. The author managed to get the manga to draw people who are practically begging what happens next

 

Out of curiousity; who thinks that Sasuke will defeat Itachi's mangekyo Sharingan whenever he uses it?

 

Hm...while I don't think that Sasuke will precisely defeat Itachi's mangekyo, I'm pretty sure that's a pretty pointless question. Isn't the Sharingan completely immune to the effects of the Mangekyo?

 

I don't think it has ever been said that the Sharingan is immune against the Mangekyo. Don't quote me on that though. I forget what Itachi said to Kakashi. All I remember is something about Kakashi not being an Uchiha thus making his Sharingan flawed.

 

There is no way obito is tobi with Madaras spirit. His right side of the body was completly crushy by a boulder the size of a small bedroom. And Kakashi's sharingan is flawed because he doesn't have the uchiha's blood. But i gotta wonder how he got the power of one of the Mangekyo techniques?

But now that i think about it Tobi's right side is where the sharingan is and even if they were the same how could Obito's body survive something like that? Especially his eye. heh getting punched gives you a swollen eye so what would a boulder do i wonder?

 

It's fiction, anything can happen. Hell, we have a couple immortal people and demons that live in humans. I think that if this is the way Kishi is going to go, he'll be able to pull something out of his ass to compensate.

 

That's obvious; the real question is, will Kishi be able to pull something out of his ass to compensate for the fact that he'll be ignoring Naruto's story for many months?

 

heh, if i was kishi, i'd say "Just saving the best for last." ...at least i hope he will.
