^That one jutsu Pein used has a huge draw back. And the only reason he needs the demons is because the explosion Pein caused on Konoho is gonna look like a firecracker in comparison to all the 9 demons chakra combined.

 

Was that a giant scroll I saw in the second to last page of the chapter? What are the chances it's Naruto and he did something to save every single person in the village?

 

Probably the Summon that people seemed to conveniently forgot about.

 

'Gree with Lincos. Likely some huge/powerful summon came and did what the desert sand did for Gaara against Deidara. All that destruction is just as likely smoke without fire. After all, when Deidara used his huge bomb against Suna it looked like he'd wiped Suna out as well only for the sand barrier to be revealed later.

Edit: Though I have to say that a storyline with Konoha being destroyed and Naruto being the one to rebuild it has some real punch to it.

 

You know as well as i do that is highly not possible. The chances of that happening is neigh. Also, if you look at the last, with the scene showing the destruction of Konoho, Only Pein was in the air. No one else.

 

Yes Oujou, but in the last image in the previous page we have Pain looking down with a look of surprise/shock on his face...he's got the large "!" painted on his head. Also if you look at the final page, you'll see the plume of smoke on the ground where the blast originated. Now that may just be because of the blast but it may also be the toad summon along with Naruto and Ma and Pa toads. As for an explanation for the destruction painted on there, look at my previous post.

Still, as I said before, the destruction would be a damn fine way of going forward. All the civilians and children are safe, evacuated to the bunkers. So Naruto and some friends maybe, could rebuild Konoha.

 

I dun say he was in the air too. I said there is a snap shot of a giant scroll like the one Jiraiya used to carry around. Add in the exlamation mark above Pain's head and you know something happened he didn't expect.

 

My friend had a theory that that the 3 toads summoned that section of Konoha to Mt. Myouboku. I personally disagree but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

Kakashi has to be dead, because we haven't seen him since that incident with the nail... Didn't Tsunade start to evacuate the village of civilians once Pain attacked? Does every toad use Senjutsu, or just the toad sages? I know that the primary battle toads are trained in Ninjutsu, but I don't know if they can all use the sage arts.

I ask because I'm in the midst of writing a story where Naruto is trained on Myoubokuza Mt. with the toads, instead of attending the academy.

And another question, about affinities. Evidence shows that ninja can only use jutsu from the elements they have an affinity for - case in point, every elemental jutsu uses elemental manipulation and you can't manipulate an element unless you have an affinity for it. (This really wasn't a question, more like a discussion topic.)

 

Not all toads learn senjutsu.

It's what makes Fukasaku and Shima so powerful and important. They are the Two Great Sages.

However, because toads are, well, toads, they have a greater connection with nature and are born with the innate ability to see natural energy. This explains why Gamakichi is awed when Fukasaku gathers sage energy.

As to your affinities question, I think you're a bit mistaken.

Ninja can learn to use jutsu outside of their affinity(ies). Kakashi can use lightning, earth, and water, yet his only stated affinity is for lightning.

Likewise, Kakashi states that Kakuzu appears to have four different affinities because he is capable of using jutsu of a high level for all four of his elements.

That would indicate that a ninja can learn to use weaker jutsu outside of their own affinities.

Elemental manipulation is not used in every elemental ninjutsu. Elemental manipulation is what occurs when a ninja transforms their own chakra into the element of their affinity. It is sealless and highly difficult to learn.

Ninja cannot learn to manipulate elements outside of their affinities from what we can tell, and not all ninja learn or care to learn elemental manipulation, though it's highly likely that learning it can aid in using higher levels of elemental jutsu.

Examples of elemental manipulation from the manga include Naruto's Fuuton: Rasengan and Kakashi and Sasuke's Chidori and Raikiri manipulations. Killer Bee's lightning manipulation also falls in here.
