I hope it is because the faster we get done with this god damned Sasuke bullshit the faster we can get past the Kakashi and Sakura bullshit, and get to the good stuff. But knowing Kishimoto this fight is nowhere near over. This fight will extend for another twenty chapters, just to shove the fact in our faces that Kishi was lying and he will never get to Naruto again.

 

I think the fight will go on till the end up February, possibly March. So around 10 chapters, give or take a few. Not only will there be a lot of chapters of fighting, but toward the end we will get a few chapters of Sasuke/Itachi conversation.

 

...Sakura + Old Bitch Vs Puppet Emo Bishi = 30 something chapters.

Sasuke V Itachi = 1 chapter.

Like LogrusMage said, Itachi has always been perceived as THE strongest of Akatsuki in One vs One fights. There should have been no way for Itachi to fall to the hands of an emo-bitch like Sasuke.

If Itachi does not die and kills Sasuke, I will be glad.

But you should know how much Kishimoto is in love with Sasuke. So I really think that this is the end of Itachi.

 

I already said it, but I will say it again. Sasuke will lose. Itachi will be killed by someone who interfered with the fight, most likely being Kabuto since Kabuto wants to be the one to kill Sasuke. Driven mad that his revenge was taken from him by Kabuto/Orochimaru, Sasuke and Team Hebi will join Akatsuki. I see this as the only possible option for them, they can't go back to Konoha, plus Akatsuki is low on members.

 

If there's true justice in this world, Itachi will utterly crush Sasuke.

If Sasuke wins now, it'll just undermine the entire underlying theme of the story, and send many people the message that "Hey, backstabbing your friends and going to pedophiles for power is A-OK!".

Of course, that could just me what I'm telling myself to help me feel better.

Come on, write even more about Sasugay? What has he been doing for the last few months then? And who gives a damn about Kakashi and Sakura anyway, they were in the spotlight long enough during the fight against Deidara/Sasori. Naruto is the main character, dammit!

About the fight, there's no way in hell it's over. This is Itachi we're talking about, he's not going to be tricked by some half-assed genjutsu of all things. I'm rooting for him anyway, but knowing Kishi, Sasugay'll probably win... somehow.

I'm still pissed off about Jiraiya dying...

Honestly, it seems a requirement for any fight to at least last for 20 chapters, and they always end up surviving, or escaping.

Really, the more that die, the less scene switches there will be.
