Need help uploading new avatar.

    Can anyone tell me how to convert .bmp into one of the formats that an Avatar will work on? :?

    download a program from a site like www.download.com or something.. i really im quite clueless about this but I have seen some small software which will convert picture types.

    or just open it in MSpaint and hit save as... then the drop down box with ll have jpeg as an option.

    Or use, http://www.jql.co.uk/avatarsizer.htm it's so easy a braindead zombie could use it. It's what I used for my avatars before I started fooling around in photoshop.

    I use photoshop for mine, but since your asking this I'll assume you don't have it. Otherwise I agree with the others, that was the first program I used.
