When I said 'Magic. It tastes delicious', I really meant that having innate magic made wizards and witches tastier than muggles, from a cannibal perspective, be it Hannibal or Harry.

You could start the character in muggle world, ho hum, gnawing on humans. Then he gets a taste of magical flesh, and must have moar. Maybe Dumbledore finds him. Offers him spot in Hogwarts.

Imagine a school full of tender, magically delicious human beings?

    Om nom nom.

    I dunno about magically delicious...

I don't think Hannibal eats people simply because they taste good.

After doing it for as long as he has, I think he could have developed a picky taste for humans. Hannibal Lecter taste-testing magic folk could make for a good read.

WBA? I know I should know what that is, it sounds really damn familiar.

The magic-eater concept sounds like it could be interesting, I think I've seen that done before in something... But yeah, that's defiantly a different plot bunny.

I think Necromancy would be fun to incorporate, and it's likely that Lecter would manipulate Harry into looking for such things. I'll defiantly take it into consideration.

It's true that I could just remove the Dursley's from the story completely, but I've only ever seen a couple where that was done properly. Bellatrix might break out of azkaban, but it won't be to torture Harry. How would she find him? Wasn't part of the purpose of the blood wards to keep Harry hidden from Death Eaters?

Thinking about it, I remember another Hannibal Lecter crossover a few years back, where Harry needs to see a psychologist after killing Voldemort and ends up going to see Lecter at his asylum. Anyone know what happened to it?

Funny you should mention that. I was thinking about this story earlier today. I've spent a while looking for it since.

As far as I can tell, it's gone. Just went poof. Kinda sad too, though. I remember it being really well written.

Ah. Thanks, Moridin. I feel like an idiot, but if I didn't know that, I obviously didn't lurk properly.

I think your right. I had it on my favorites list, and I can't find it now. Damn. It was very well done, and it certainly stayed true to the style of the Lecter books.
