The sad thing is - I have no idea where I have found a link to it and even if it was horrible, bad, good or perfect. I only remember the scene, and have no ideas how to find it with this info. I looked around for a bit, but might have simply missed it.

The CLUES:

Harry time travels back into the past. (doesn't help any, I know ;D)
His younger counterpart is yet to be born.
He uses a fake name and helps the Order some, but the Order is tied with his grandfather and there is some mess as they recognize him as a Potter eventually.
James hates him for some reason or other.
There is speculation in the press after the SCENE that he is illegitimate brother to James.


The SCENE:

Harry has just fought Voldemort, and is all but dying. (The fight scene turns up blank in memory... Something with light and dark magic used at the same time?) His grandfather agrees to use a strange ritual that works for close blood relatives only and they slice their palms (?) grasping each others hands. There is some kind of flashy magic and it works bringing him back from the land of mostly dead to one for those still kind of alive. As there are numerous witnesses it bites Harry and his grandfather in the ass with various rumors in the press, both for the fight itself and his possible relations to Potters.




And that's it. No idea for a name, the time it was written, even length.
Hope it was specific enough and someone knows what I'm talking about, as I surely don't. Then again, perhaps I will stumble on it myself.

The story has been deleted and he has disappeared from ffn.
