So in this fic we have a SI, with a Fem Harry starting from her birth which may make most you consider not reading this.

This story is a Harry Potter/Dresden Files fusion. I loved this fic especially in regard to way the way the fusion thing is being handled. Dumbledore is awesome in this fic which is always a good thing.

4/5 for now.

 

Quick question. Does it have the standard SB/SV attitude with 'hurr durr me smart than ficitional organizations that were ment to fail' + gun porn + 'medieval character, why U stupid and not invent gunpowder'?

 

I made it through a few paragraphs. Typos and incredibly overused cliches abound, and there were a lot of sentences that wandered around aimlessly long after they should have ended. Unreadable, and what I did read did not make me suspect that the story would be worth suffering through the writing for.

 

The author spells 'Lily' as 'Lilly' all the damn time. Ugh.

Regardless of that, this truly is terrible. I have no idea how on earth can anyone get past the horrible writing.

Read a couple of chapters in and I have some mixed thoughts about this fic.

First off we have quite many spelling errors but as a non native speaker of the english language I personally have no problems with them, the author has stated that it is his first fic and would like feedback on those problems. As the story goes on the writing itself improves.

Then we have the fic itself, it starts of quite rusty, has some cringeworthy scenes and contains many cliches. Thankfully IMO it gets somewhat better later on and even if it is a SI it becomes interesting enough for me to keep reading. It features a couple of ideas that I have not previously seen inside fanfiction which is a plus but there is also many overused ideas.

I would not really recommend it to alot of people, but since it is a guilty pleasure and it is readable (which isn't something you can say for alot of fics) I rate this a weak 3/5
