They discussed this in the GoF DVD extras. The producers decided that red eyes wouldn't work in video like they do in the books, because they don't convey emotion as well.

Now, that would be cool. And let's face it, it is Hollywood, there must be long sequence of final fight between main hero and main villain.

Also, seeing these legions of wizards running from the forest made me think about my imagine of final battle of Hogwart. I always imagined it much smaller event, not hundreds against hundreds.

 

I have to think it's in 3D so that when Harry travels back in time and his soul bonds with Molly by mistake, the swaying of her pendulous udders will be all the more real to the audience. Sorry. There I go again, mixing up canon and fanon.

Seriously though, from pictures we've seen of the filming of the Epilogue, won't 3D just compound how much Ginny looks like a meth/crack addict and Harry looks like a decrepit old man? I won't be the only one in the theater thinking Harry made the wrong choice the last time he was at King's Cross...

Why did Voldemort have Dumbledore's voice? Other than that it looks surprisingly good.

 

How epic would it be to see Harry learn some new spells and actually use them against Voldemort? Still get his ass handed to him but man, I would like very much :awesome
