If you've changed over, or use forums2, I want your opinions. Do the forums feel faster to you? I've made several improvements on top of the new server, and want the general consensus.

It is much better....Faster, improved, etc.
How long was it supposed to take to switch over though?
(Just wondering, I did already, but still...)

Should have only taken about four hours for the DNS to propagate, unless your local DNS server did something weird and decided to disregard the TTL (time to live, or the time it's cached).

    Yup, it's faster alright.

After switching to this new software, there was a significant drop in speed - probably because pages are now bigger, there are more scripts and everything is in a single table (opposed of each post in it's own horizontal table). With this new server, loading speed has improved significantly, pretty much to the level it was before the changes (maybe even faster).

    Good work!

It's working a hell of a lot faster for me. Faster than the old phpbb boards. Most pages load in less than a second for me, in fact I don't think one has took longer than that yet. The quickest has been around 0.4 seconds. Good work.

Verily fast, and much more beautiful on my new firefox... but my spellcheck is gone! Oh no!
Edit: I'm fine now, went and got all kinds of extensions... including *bum bum bum* the almighty Spellcheck!

The actual page is loading faster but the images are still taking forever on my ye ol' dial up. I can handle it. Cheers to Raven for forking out money to spend on all us little ankle muchers. :D

I did a Control - F5 refresh of the main page, and noticed a considerable difference on 56k.

I also noticed a speed difference on this end...and cut my server load from an average of 0.6-0.8 to 0.01.
