So, caught this the other night on TV, 6 part period drama/show about gang warfare in the slums of Birmingham just after WW1. Its only got a few episodes out but it looks to be shaping up to be pretty good. The comical sounding gang name comes from a ruthless 1920's Brummie gang, named by their habit of blinding people with razors sown into the peaks of their flatcaps. In this they're mostly run/made up of one family, the Shelbys who the show revolves around, and their ambitious leader Thomas.

I dont think I'm selling it particularly well, but I highly suggest you give it a go, the sets are movie quality and the talent it top-notch. And just for good measure, it doesn't much look like its going to be boardwalk empire with brummie accents.
