To be fair, there shouldn't even be a fourth Bourne movie, as there is no fourth Bourne book.

TRILOGY means three, no? >_>

 

Yep, there are 3 Bourne books...and then fourteen years later a guy started publishing fanfiction. This movie will be made of that fanfiction.

 

There shouldn't of even been a Bourne 1 if you use that reasoning, since the movie differs so greatly from the book, it had little justice in calling itself the same name. Then again, if the book = the movie, no one would of went to read people talking in french for page after page, lol.

 

This makes me a sad panda. I just watched the Bourne trilogy like last night for the first time in ages.

It's still loosely based on the book by Robert Ludlum.

Also, how that follows my reasoning is beyond me. My reasoning for why there shouldn't be a fourth book is that 'the bourne legacy' is published Bourne fanfiction that has Robert Ludlum's name on the front cover, and the actual author's on the inside, which is basically what I said in my post. There are only three Bourne books.

The reasoning I used in my post and the reasoning used in your's are very different.
