Really looking for a non slash/non creature fic where Harry goes to another school. I've only been able to find a few readable ones. Thanks in advance.

does it have to be about Harry? If not Inverarity's fics are not only some of the greatest other school fics but undoubtedly some of the greatest examples of world building you can find.

"A Second Chance at Life" has some slash, though. I don't think any of it involves Harry, but I assume "non slash" meant no slash in general, not just Harry-centric slash.

 

I cant remember it but I don't believe its slash, however I recall that there are vague mentions of Bi-sexual vampires just like a sentence or two so you may have gotten confuse

 

E. C. Scrub's When a Veela Cries is a story mostly matching the OP's request (to the extent that a Harry/Fleur pairing isn't considered a "creature fic").

ASCAL isn't about Harry Potter, but rather Rakhesh Asmodeus. There's a world of difference. (Incidentally, this is how the series ends.)

 

Waaay too much angst in "When a Veela Cries", IMO. And it's not exactly regular school-time, the kind of stuff that OP might be looking for.

Not everyone. Harry is alive.

 

I'm not denying that, though after The Santi's, it's certainly more readable (to me) than the likes of ASCAL, Anarkia, or Brave New World, the other stories of this sort that come to mind.

 

Lord Voldemort and the Intricate Plots have Harry going to an alternate school.

 

The Plot of ASCAL is decent, maybe if somebody re-wrote that?
Or just add time travel or dimensional travel of another harry
Maybe Denarian!Harry from Shezza`s series

 

Anarkia is one of my favorites, its a damn shame it was never finished. I should mention I've read most of the well known ones. That included the fics mentioned above. Maybe the good ones have already been discovered.

Thanks for the help guys. I did like A second chance, even though it had nothing to do with Hp like Pers mentioned.

I'm currently re-reading Brave New World and was looking for some other stories of a similar fashion.
