i thought his master assasian was okay- there it was pretty much most of his childhood of training instead of one month. Though I think that is more the fault of rowling making him so weak in the books. With some guidance he could be a pretty good but with the lack of constructive reviews...

Ha, I've got a 10 year old sister, another who's 12 and another who's 14 and any one of them could probably outwrite him. Getting really powerful in a month is just too unbelievable without manipulating time. And I seriously doubt he'd be a fanfic God around here. I only joined a little more than a month ago but the fics he writes are nothing compared to the ones I've found here. And his reviews, my guess is that the readers are choosing the lesser of two evils.

I invited him here quite sneakily. I mean he's not going to accept invitations if you flame him. Check this out:

Alas I don't think my sweet tone helped him over here. Too bad. Chances are he'd never write again after visiting some of the threads here...

By the way, he doesn't have that many reviews at all. It's just that the ones he has are ridiculously ass-kissy.

Something else I noticed. These are from his profile:

    Fair enough...

    Ok...what?

Sorry stained but you've contradicted yourself here...

That's a sweeping statement. Yes, very modest. Another contradiction there. Let's give somethiong to him, there are those who don't write in English. If we're counting French, Spanish etc. then yes he is better than a "multitude" of authors on ff.net.

Unfortunately it doesn't in any type of run, long or short.

<_< >_> Am I the only one wondering why he decided to add the first quote when it was followed by the others? "I welcome flames" This is then followed by two or three paragraphs contradicting this statement.

Stained-future...a fitting name. You have lived up to your name o stainer of fanfcition. [/i]

Just spotted something else on his profile page that amused me:

That's just about every main character. I could write pages as to exactly what is wrong with this. No wonder he has no concept of characterisation. I mean:
Voldemort: "Who the hell has the bloody gall to call themselves a 'lord'?"
McGonagall: "always turning desks into pigs and showing off."
I can't even be bothered to quote anymore. This guy is an absolute lunatic but also a legend (not in a good way).

I disagree... Most of them probably write in English better than he does.

Is it ethical for me to flame his profile in a review?

ok these two are the only characters in the book who can't be hated....McGonagall tried to get harry a better home but was shot down by Dumbledore. As for Voldemort...he kill people daily so of course he can title himself a Lord...I just woke up from a nice nap and this kid pissed me off.

Here are my thoughts on his profile:

Ok Thats good so far, it is good to be humble.

    Uh oh...

Hmm... Sort of like your own. Why am I reminded of a pot calling a kettle black?

Well at least he recognizes it...

And I would like to think that I would see a world wide utopia created in my lifetime... It wont hapen and I recognize this. Mr. Giovanni would hereby like to inform Mr. bad-author that his narcissistic idiocy is not appreciated.

Oh so he is going to thank me for adding something constructive to my flames like he so kindly asked me to. Finally recognition for the amount of time it took me to go through each of his horrible chapters and give him a sampling of the easily fixed errors.

Wait... WTF!!! you don't care about your own writing? You don't have the pride in your creations to take the time to remove easily fixable errors in order to make them better?

At least you recognize that I posess a far better command of the English language than you could ever hope to have.

Erm... What about having pride in your work? Thats why I fix the mistakes in my writing before I turn it in for my Creative Writing class. They aren't my needs anyway; they are yours and I am trying to help you grow as a writer by pointing them out.

Oh god... You just know the most immodest, arrogant, and hubris infested comment in the whole profile is gonna go right after this.

    See!!! I was right!

You do realize that only roughly 25% of the authors on FF.net speak English as their first language, and the majority of them are 12/13 year old girls... You do realize this right bro???

And also see here is the problem with comparisons... They let us rationalize things. I mean sure in comparison to Stalin and Hitler, Osama is actually a pretty good guy... But that doesn't change the fact that he is

    A) A horrible human being
    B) A mass murderer
    C) A crazy motherfucker
    D) All of the above.

Ok... So basically lets get this right. Reviews that criticize you for bad writing are bad... Espeially if they tell you how to fix your story up so that it makes sense and has less cliches are bad. Reviews that teach you how to fix your god-awful typing/grammer... are bad.

But reviews that consist of exactly one sentence "good chapter, write more." Are Good? Hmm... Your logical processes are severely flawed. The entire point of the review feature is so that fanfic readers can give constructive criticism to the author and make their feelings public... But you just want it for an ego stroking. Alright if your self esteem is so low, then fine... Just know that authors like you are why no one puts effort into writing reviews anymore.

And for not meaning to insult you come off as pretty... well... insulting.

Is that your a below average author who uses bad comparisons to somehow justify your abysmal writing, poor grammer, and faulty logical faculties.

    End of my post (finally).

I actually liked his profile. It was probably the most interesting profile I've ever seen.

Heh, I must admit I really like this kid. Nothing brings him down, I'll give him that. I find all his efforts interesting and amusing, even in only 'cute little puddle repeatedly slamming head-first into the wall' kind of way.

Yep... but don't forget what he said Gio! He welcomes flames! o_O
    :mid6
I dunno, before I saw the profile I was sticking to "well his fics suck, but at least he's trying and he showed a bit of improvement." now after reading that I can't believe someone who writes stuff that bad, is that arrogant.

It's like Tucker Max said to the average looking chick who turned him down for sex "You aren't hot enough to have that much self esteem"

He's like a cockroach that way. No matter how many times you step on him he keeps coming back. The reviews are the feet. Flames are those that stomp on him. Good reviews(If he has any) are those that kick the others away from him away. But so far not a single one of those flames have shot him down. Can we just march up to his house and mob him with our kitchen implements?

How about just one mass flame, everybody who doesent like him just writes a long winded flame at one time, so he thinks hes getting alot of reviews, but when he checks poor widdle heart gets broken:)

    My primary objections to him:

He is so arrogant criticism simply bounces off of him.
His writing is mediocre AT ITS VERY BEST!!!
He recognizes his suckyness and expects us to forgive him for not only a poorly thought out story, but grammatical errors so numerous that each paragraph is like a minefield of errors.
And quite frankly my biggest objection to him is a philosophical one. Authors like him have invaded the other Genres and pairings... We all went to unusual pairings to avoid authors EXACTLY like this!!! Authors who canon whored because they had no imagination, authors who wrote absolutely pointless drivel, and authors who wrote sex scenes having never experienced the joys of intercourse themselves (at the moment we are discarding hands and cylandircal objects as sexual partners). I stopped reading Canon! Harry stories because they all started to sound EXACTLY the same. Seeing this part of the fandom invaded by them disturbs me.

This is kind of sad but the more we talk about this guy the more im starting to like him. It takes a…unique….personality to write stuff like he does.

Now I kind of wonder how old he is. This kid kinda reminds me of myself when I was like 13 to 14, in other words a LOVER of cliches, I could read a cliché over and over again and love it every single time.

And god forbid the kid is actually a respectable age. If he was anything above the age of 17 I would burst out laughing. But then I would feel bad realizeing that I must have been laughing at a kid with an extra 21st chromosome.

I have to agree with Gio on one point. It's a shame that all these authors are starting to invade the 'lesser' used pairings. It's quite annoying to be honest, sorting through what little there are and finding garbage.

Well, the pairings are usually "lesser used" because it takes talent to write them well. To make them work, you know? But once someone writes a "lesser used/known" pairing well, the readers become inspired by their outline and figure "geez, why didn't I think of that!" and basically steal that authors work and brutalize it.

Of course, since they "accept flames so graciously" they have to make sure to cover thier tracks and not get caught "stealing" another author's ideas by inserting some of thier own "original" ideas. Thus the outrageous crap we find, and how the "cliche" comes to be.

Anyone in favor of this? I know I am. I think I already did it once before. Though it would be fun to do it again.
