So, what exactly is up with the magical protection around the Dursley's? Half the time it sounds like it is nothing more than wards around the house, but other times as though living with the Dursley's gives Harry protection around his body at all times. If it is the first, what is the point of going back? Have him stay under Fidelius some place. Especially if it will expire randomly when he turns 17. How easy would it be for Voldemort to sit outside his house and wait for it to expire? If its the latter, then what's the point. It obviously doesn't work.

Good point. Dumbledore says he has to spend his birthday there to keep up the protection (If I too have not been too influenced by Fanfics) It almost sounds like it has to recharge each year and will last as long. If that is the case, surley Voldemort shouldnt have been able to use Harry in GoF

It's been a while since I read that filth, formaly known as HBP, but I thought Harry took grayback out, in a wrestling match. Also, what every happend to the Death Eaters that were incapacitated? I don't recall the story every giving info on the injured or captured because Bill decided to steal the show with his inability to fight, subsequently, leading to his injuries.

 

About the wards; since he has Harry's blood, shouldn't he be able to walk right in?


I hope that JK doesn't even think about redeeming Snape! (I've heard a theory about Snape's and Dumbasadoor's argument in Half Blood Piss about Snape promising to kill Dumb, and having to go ahead with it; if that's the case, I'm gonna hurl).

Does anyone else also think that if the "power of love" is, not only useless against a magical powerhouse like Voldemort, but it's also stupid? And if love's the key, Harry would be one of the less capable people to feel it, despite Dumb's stupid theory?

I mean, with all the other extremely important facts that JK promised to reveal in the previous books, and already did, I can't contain my excitement and expectation at hoping to see the new pearl of information JK will divulge; maybe it'll finally be revealed that Lily really, really loved pudding.

 

LotR moment in book seven. Harry tells Peter, "if you return to your master then you will fall through the veil." Then in the final battle Peter tries to return to Tom only to send both of them through the veil. Also ship changes to H/Hr just because it doesn't follow logically after book 6 and JKR hates logic (as shown in HBP).

Ok, now the moment you have all been waiting for my version of the last line of book seven. After preforming several complex transfigurations on Neville, Ginny proceeds to put the finishing touches on her new boyfriend's head by by carving a lightning bolt shape on his forehead that would later leave a scar.

 

The wards will have some purpose in book7 since they've been mentioned a dozen times, also the green eye's thing will probably be revealed. "You have your mothers eyes" bahh that sounds so gay. She has to explain these 2 plot points in order for the story to be complete. Someone mentioned wormtail killing greyback with the hand, but i thought Greyback was captured when Harry dominated him? I'll have to check that, I think HBP didn't give the reader enough info on the results of the hogwarts battle.

I wonder what will happen to the Dursley's in book7, seems every book Harry gets some form of retribution against them, with the exception of book 6 where Dumble just bounces a few glasses on their heads. I'm just hoping they kick Harry out and they get murdered for the lack of blood protection or something.

 

could be but...I personally feel it's just another lame ass half baked plot so that Harry has to do the Private Drive scene every goddam book; hell, I'm half convinced she allowed Wormtail to escape just so Harry had to return there; how could they not remember a stunner, or a paralyzing spell?!?!?

That kind of stratagems, I mean, finding more and more reasons to make the main character miserable is not just bad writting; it's pathetic!

 

Dumbledore was always assertive in that Harry go back to Privet Drive. I think with his death and Harry's anger at being put with them all those years it will finally pay off. It just has too!!! maybe the protection has in some way that us readers havn't figured out yet, maybe that's why Harry always gets out of scrapes. The protection gives the protected some luck, it would make sence with the luck.

I have HPB on pdf I'm going to search for the words luck because luck was a big HINT I constantly read luck where other words could of been used. the search came up with words like unluckily, luck, and lucky. there may be more because pdf had some CLUCKING come up which is an entry error in the PDF

TOTAL = 57 I think we have a some evidence that LUCK is a bigger clue than first realized.

 

The only part I really enjoyed in HBP was Harry's rant in his head during his meeting with Dumbledore. I'm not bothering to look it up, but it was something along the lines of 'Yeah, yeah, I know, the power is love'...'Big Deal'

I doubt the eyes will be a big deal. Fanfiction has made them out to be more than they are and I think if she was going to make it central to the plot she may have tried harder to get Dan Radcliff to wear contacts more (or at least they edited it in after filming)

Yeah, my guess is that it will be something like her middle name, maybe her parents names, possibly her parents got killed by DE's/Voldemort/random guy on street

 

I guess that it will take place at hogwarts, harry for some reason goes into the chamber of secrets and finds all remaining horcrux there as voldy had hidden them there when he applied to be a teacher. harry then thru some random luck destroys all horcrux, voldemorts notice and comes to hogwarts
and harry is given the sword of gryffindore by the sorting hat once more. harry then trip and accidently decapitates voldemort.

The last sentence is: He felt a tingle go thru him before focusing on his forehead, he summoned a mirror and saw that there was nothing left of his famous scar.

Apparently, JK has said that the colour of Harry's eye's is very important in the seventh book.

I can't wait to read about the importance of his eyes; maybe the zits on his nose will also give him some new special power (his new power will be whatever JK needs to pull out of her ass to cover plot holes and save the impending disaster that will be book 7).

 

In the Boston Globe a while ago, and then she reaffirmed that the eyes are important in some other interview a little ago. To be honest, it'll come down to the exciting info about Lily, again, as he does have his mothers eyes, after all.
