Since I did say I would do this, incoming Pokemon lineup, status, so on. I'll also briefly summarize yesterday's events.

POKEMON LINEUP



VLADBAT Lvl:21

Vladbat is definitely a key component of the team. He exists simply to troll both me and the opposition. Anyone watching earlier probably heard me raging at him while trying to level, but once he learned Bite he became useful, and I've used him in almost every major fight since.



SERATIN Lvl:20

Seratin, mah starter, has actually fallen out of use for a bit, as is the way of my starters. I'm about to start grinding him again, but since my next fight is with Whitney, he's not the hugest priority. However, he's definitely my strongest team member, and is there to win when I'm in trouble. Seratin, to date, has the most revenge kills on the team, two.



MARIE M. Lvl:20

Marie M., so named because she popped up in my only chance to catch a Ghastly, has actually become slightly worth it. Hyper Fang usually fucks up somebody's day, and to date she has yet to get seriously critted on, which believe me is an achievement.



HAVOC Lvl:16

Havoc's being the HM slave right now. I gave him Cut, just for trees, but he's actually turned it around and started killing things. I'll keep leveling him and see where it takes us.



ANGLOFDRMZ Lvl:15

ANGLOFDRMZ (yes, with caps) is about my only hope of beating Whitney and her stupid Miltank. I'm prepared to grind the shit out of him until we get something good enough to completely flatten the normal Gym, which has stalled me for about an hour.



XIPH0 Lvl:13

I'd like to say Xiph's a fresh catch, but I just haven't found a place where he isn't nearly killed by everything. I might try and XP share him with Whitney, which could help get him in fighting shape.

And that's the team.

SUMMARY

We kicked off yesterday with Seratin advising me to take Totodile in heavy opposition to everyfuckingone else in #pokemanz, who were pushing for Cyndaquil. Naturally, I ignore them all and went with the Irishman's choice. I powered through to the Pokedex, and the challenge began. First catch was of course, Vladbat, in Dark Cave. (I wanted a Geodude.) I pushed into Violet, and quickly caught Sreepeed. After a bit of grinding, we got everyone up to good levels, and I went off to catch an Unknown, on the urging of the viewers. I accidentally the Unknown with the Xiph0 I caught along the way. So I moved into Bellsprout Tower with the intention to get a Ghastly, but Marie M. was there to ruin everyone's fun. (As in life, amirite) Beating Falkner was easy, because certain fools told me his Pokemon were pretty high level (they weren't), and I headed down into Azeala. Trollbats ruined my Slowpoke chance, and I kicked Team Rocket out only to get locked into a Rival Battle. This marked the death of Sreepeed, who was critted (third in a row) by Razor Leaf. After some mourning, Vladbat beat the Bayleaf and we continued on. Here I caught Havoc, who I quickly evolved into a Beedrill, and we made it to Whitney's Gym, where I've been fucking around thinking of a plan to beat her Miltank for the past three hours of game. The Game Corner provided ANGLOFDRMZ, at which point I looked at the clock and decided to get some sleep.

 

What happens with the Togepi?

 

It keeps getting sent back to the box and put back into the party as pokemon die and are caught.

 

Can you ever go back to a previous route to get Pokemon(maybe after you beat a gym) or is the "first pokemon" rule always in effect?
This challenge sounds difficult, but fun . I think I might do it with Crystal as well (if I can find my copy).

Note for yesterday's crew. I worked on some settings and managed to reduce lag time to about five seconds. Been streaming Dead Space today as a test thing, and it's come out fine.

Today on Soul Silver I encountered a shiny Nidoran. My first ever unique shiny.

Too bad I'd already caught a Drowzee a few steps previously.

 

Lost interest when I found out a hack was involved to get past a gym leader.

I hold my Pokemon challenges to the highest level!

Even worse, the hack probably wasn't even needed.

 

Coins don't count, Kai Shek. Go choke on a bag of 80 dicks.

 

I'm sure it's within the rules, and I wasn't trying to condemn him for it. All I'm saying is it caused me to lose interest.

You wandered in, I mentioned that he used the hack to get casino coins, and you ragequit.

Your post was massively misleading. You made it seem like the gymleader couldn't be beat, so he hacked it. He hacked coins to get a cubone.

 

I've been watching since yesterday actually, just left a little early last night and didn't see the coins. Thanks, but try again, and I said that the hack wasn't needed. He destroyed the leader with the Pokemon he bought with the hacked coins. The only thing I posted before that, was laughing out loud when a Rattata popped up when he was waiting for a Bellsprout or Ghastly, and asked this afternoon if he was going to go live soon. I was there, just not vocal about it.

I kept my post simple to avoid any confusion, it was not meant to be misleading.

 

He would have destroyed the gym with anything. He over leveled to a ridiculous extent.

 

First casualty of the night. Havoc the Beedrill was cut down by Voltorbs self-destruct!
