    Works best when you blink actually. Stare at the red dot, then look at the wall and blink. The face will actually light-up on the wall every time you blink.

    When you stare at the image long enough, keeping your eyes in the same place - that's what the dot is for - the reverse of the image stays briefly on your retinas, so when you look away you'll see trollface blocking the way.

    Try staring at it for half a minute/a minute, make sure you look away to something light, and blink rapidly to keep seeing it.

    Regarding the trollface illusion, I ignored it at first, considering it had a trollface on it the likeliness of it not working for an hour and then you being faced with a trollface and realizing that you have been trolled was high...

    (someone needs to do this)

    Stare at the dot in the center of the pic until the counter finishes, and don't move your eyes at all -- not even a millimeter. Then move it after you got a good look and then go, "Wtf lol."

    He means, that you will think that photo of castle is in colour, but it's black and white. It's pretty old but still wicked.
