At some point though I'd suggest switching over to the manga. The anime kinda ends on a stupid speech with a bunch of unresolved plot points.

I chuckled, where does the Tree Fiddy meme come from though? I first saw it about a year ago on reddit, it was everywhere but I've no clue on the actual source.

I can't bring myself to watch it even if the parody is good, I've not been able to sit through an episode for at least 5 years.

 

Figures that Reddit would take a joke that died over ten years ago and perform some dark, perverse necromancy on it.

Then again, that episode came out in 1999. That's probably before most Reddit users were even born.

 

That's the MO of all the popular subreddits, I just browsed a couple fandom specifics and askreddit so... yeah.

 

I don't think it ever died. At least 4chan made sure it survived.

 

Perhaps the saddest thing about this article, other than being a huge affront to science and a damning nail in the standard of modern journalism, is that Amalaha's professors at the University of Lagos believe his research is "groundbreaking" and have noted that he is well on his way to earning a Nobel Prize.

To be as fair as humanly possible, this does come from Nigeria where the punishments for homosexuality include 14 years in prison and death by stoning.

The argument or 'proof' that gay marriage is impossible is based upon the idea of two magnets being brought together at the same pole (neg + neg or pos + pos) results in a force driving the two apart.

Here's my Nobel-prize worthy counter argument:

When you bring two magnets together at the same pole, there is resistance, but then the larger one flips the other one over to connect their bottoms.
