Never heard of it till now. Some people just like being melodramatic.

It works best with Diet Coke out of everything, they got the explosion of soda to clear the roof of a multi-story building by close to ten feet with Diet Coke on Mythbusters.

 

I hate to be one of those people, but goddamnit, 9gag really fucking pisses me off, what with the theft of other people's pictures, and the fact that they add their own goddamn name to every pic.

 

I don't know anything about that Ashaya, but the picture itself wan't particularly funny at all.

 

Well it's the users who add the pictures. Most of them add a source to go with it so it will link to where they got it from. I've gotten more than a few web comics from 9gag users sharing them.

 

Well, it's mainly the fact that 9gag adds "You won't see the watermark on 9gag.com" to every photo that pisses me off.

 

They change the watermark every picture, or at least every day, you can see that just by looking at the previous picture from 9gag on the page.

 

I go on 9gag a bit mainly because the site is setup well and usually can produce a laugh, but I can see why people hate the site. The "community" is a godawful conglomerate of people of sub-average intelligence that have an over inflated sense of self-worth.

And as a rule of thumb all the pictures produced by 9gag users are retarded, while the things they take from other places have a chance to be funny.

The picture's deriding the "arrow to the knee" thing, so I don't think the video is that necessary in this instance. Though it is good for when someone's actually using the joke.

Plus it's a Kingdom of Heaven reference, and I like that movie, so... yeah.
