And the fools forgot that not only was the beard long enough to tuck into his belt but the fact it was white. Don't even get me started on the way he speak and act. The whole movie was just fuc@ed up.

 

you know ,.. i just remembered something else that irked me.... the whole unmasking death eaters thingy... just plain rediculus with all the over exagerated movements...

I always think of it as:

Voldie: ... Avery! *grabs mask*
Avery: !! *falls limp like pathetic fool with all kinds of black smoke for effect*
Voldie: Lucius! *moonwalks half way, turns, pirouettes twice, twirls, grabs mask from behind back*
Lucius: *rambles on like hes better than voldie and doesnt get hexed for it*

 

you are right and what about voldie's voice not at all what I expected specially when he was a child-creature thing in riddle manor

 

I actually like the unmasking effect, despite hating all the other related DE stuff. It makes much more sense for the garb to be magical and only removable by the person or Voldie to protect the identity.

 

its not really that i didnt like it its simply the overly exagerated movements Voldie just ... it was too over the top in my opinion.. the idea is great and all.. its simply could have been done better...

 

Aye, I wasn't defending the utterly fucked acting, just mentioning I like the effect of mist. I'd scrap the whole scene and keep only that.

 

I don't know if you all caught it like me, but it practically says that Dumbledore is a Griffindor in the movie.

I thought the movie was okay, and I think you all are being a little unfair. Nothing can really match up to your imaginations until they come up with some invention that will make your imagination splay out on screen.

I thought cho was done pretty good, the butterflys were horrible , and Fleur was so not hot.

They did work with alot though, just wish they didn't lengthen certain scenes so they could cut out more important ones. I mean that dragon chasing scene took FOREVER, when you could have put like 3 or so more important scenes in there instead.

I was also mad that like, nothing happened in the Maze, except for like roots coming around and getting in there way. THAT was supposed to be the feared third task? :lol:

 

We caught that. WOOT JKR IS SOOOO SMART NOW! SHE SNUCK THAT ONE RIGHT IN THERE FOR US EH BOYS? Do you know what that tells us about the end of HBP? There is no elaborate plot to have Albus alive, he didn't ask Snape to kill him and he DEFINATELY didn't know about the fake horcrux. He is a rash Gryffindor (witheringly so) and he died because of it. A fine end to the greatest wizard of the century, if JKR says so herself. And I believe she does *throws rotten eggs at aforementioned author*

where movie Harry brings Cedric's dead body from the graveyard then just climbs on top of the body and starts crying when Dumbles try to take him away...that has got to be the most nauseating scene within the movie

Ok, I just saw the movie the other day (Curse the movie industry of my country) but I have yet to read this thread to see whats been talked about. So Ill refraim from listing all the mistakes I know were in the movie and stuff like that until Im done backreading.

just so you all know, even though the film was butchered, I still liked it, and I would like you all to keep that in mind before my next post on this topic, which will, no doubt, have a lot of criticism on it.

Oh, and JK mentioned that Dumbledore was a Gryffindor several years ago. After the release of the GoF book, if I'm not mistaken. :wink:

 

I never take anything said by another character as the truth so I never thought as Dumbledore as a Gryffindor. And I think that JK did say something about him being a Gryffindor on her website, but it's been ages since I graced that site with my presence.

I actually waited 2 hours for the fucking movie on the first day it came out. I like the action seens with the dragon and other tasks. A lot of the stuff was cut out of the book, like WTF is up with the scene when Hermione talks to Harry about how PHYSICAL VICCKY IS? HORRIBLE NIGHTMARES :cry: (Shudder) and she pretends like shes in love with Harry when the last movie she touches Rons hand and jumps like 10 fettt in the air!!! IN THIS MOVIE SHE LIKE HUMPS HARRY WHEN HES IN THE TENT WITH THE OTHER CHAMPIONS AND SKEETER GETS A PICTURE!!!
Voldy should have redder eyes, quidditech world cup should have been shown some waht.
THis DUMBLEDORE IS MESSED up, the dumbledore in the first 2 movies (Richard HARRIS) was the perfect example of the Dumbledore Rowling produces in her books. THis one aint

Really? I waited a day and then the guy over the road had it on a nice DVD for me within half and hour.

I liked Richard Harris as well, he seemed a lot more like Dumbledores character than this new guy. But still... when someone dies whilst in the middle of making a series of films someones got to take their place.
