    This is something I've actually wondered about. I straight copy/paste urls into image threads here, because to me everyone else does the same.

    Are you telling me that everyone posts images in the thread itself? Because I've been clicking on links for five years. Everything in this thread is links for me, with no embedded images outside of a (very) few posts in the Official Hotties thread.

    If I use the IMG tags, like so

    It appears the exact same to me as if I had used URL tags like so
    http://i.imgur.com/AIro9aJ.png

    or if I had just ctrl+v'd it into the post, like so

    http://i.imgur.com/AIro9aJ.png

    I'll start taking the extra few precious seconds of my time (lol) to add IMG tags, but if someone could explain why exactly I can't see them I'd appreciate it.

    click the "user CP" link in the upper left hand corner of the page
    on the left hand side under "Settings & Options" click "Edit Options"
    scroll down to "Thread Display Options" and put a check in the box by "Show Images (including attached images and images in [​IMG]
