Maybe it's because I'm a girl and this is more for guys......but this story was just too corny for me to get past the first chapter.....

And for what it's worth, I'm really liking this fic. Harry leading old squib infantry just shooting up clueless wizards. Good idea.

But I think this fic is so much less humor from the Blot, that I'd like to see... I don't know, maybe more care with the writing. Some longer descriptions on stuff, more proofreading, and thought put into the wordings. Something.

But definitely a fun read.

His stuff has really been falling off lately. It seems all of his stories just go to crap from the middle to the end. Maybe it's just me though

 

I love this story. I dont know what you guys are complaining about. This author is awesome. His works are great. If you dont like it then well ok....

 

This is a medicure story by Blots standards. I like it but then I like all his stories. This had its moments as a fic just it doesn't have the bang that Make a Wish has. Still a pretty enjoyable read.

This was one of the better Army-Harry fics I have read even if things go a bit fast for me. I just think it is rather strange that Harry gets a gun and then a few weeks later is he able to easily and calmly kill four Death Eaters...

Also it would be far more belivable if some old army guy moved to Private Drive and taught him instead of his uncle suddenly being almost nice to him.

 

Well there are fics that have Snape and Harry getting together. So why is this so unbelievable? They don’t get alone as they come to tolerate each other.

 

Yes but I meant that Harry as far as I read had never fired the gun before he shot the death eaters. From what I remember did he only use some potions to clean the gun and such.

It would have been better if he had gone to a shooting range or something similar at least once.

 

I havn't read any other army fics, could you recomend any Patrik?

 

This is another story that I really enjoy reading - if only for the vicarious thought of Harry using a gun (something which 'muggles' can use) to blast away heartily at the minions of Dark Lord Moldy-wart...

He hasn't updated lately which makes me unhappy but hopefully he'll get back to it soon!

Okay, I can agree with a 3.5/5 - though I may give a 4/5, mainly because I like it so much. I admit to the odd strangeness on occasion.

 

I guess as we are in the library necroing isn't that big of an issue, but unless you have something freaking tremendously important to say do not EVER bring up a thread more than three weeks old or you will be anally raped with absolutely no lubrication...

But now that you did necro this thread I can safely say that I think people had so much problems with this fic because Rorschach's blot is usually very amusing and not reading something so amusing from such a funny guy makes the story a bit of a downer.
