BB can do it because BB's body is unique. BB's crew was tracking other pirates down and stealing their powers like he did to WB. Also there was only two known fruit users on his crew in the first place so we can't assume everyone has multiple fruits.

Luffy as a character is not suppose to have an overpowered fruit. Him trolling people with a logia is lame. Him having 2 fruits is lamer to the point of making me not like him.

I don't believe that was said or implied. Two fruits seems to be something unique to BB to me until we're shown otherwise.

I dont think anyone on Luffy crews is gonna end up with Ace's fruit. I can see he giving it someone else though.
Like that marine dude that freaked out during Aces rescue and ended the fighting. Forgot his name. Shanks even commended him for his bravery

 

Koby? Nah, I kinda see him as playing a role similar to what Garp played to Roger. And we found out that he unlocked Haki during the war, I think he's gonna end up being a Rokushiki/Haki fighter who doesn't have a devil fruit, like Garp (unless Garp has devil fruit power we don't know about but I highly doubt that.) And Garp did supposedly go back to the marines as a teacher so maybe he taught Koby more over the time skip.
As for Ace's devil fruit, I think if Luffy ever gets his hands on it, he'll burn it or throw it into the sea, I don't think he would want someone else using his brother's powers.

 

Well that would be selfish as fuck. Fact of the matter the fruit didn't exclusively belong to ace, someone had it before him someone else should have it after him. The fruit belongs to nature not a single person

 

Luffy would probably laugh, think fondly of Ace, and throw the fruit to the sea, leaving it up to luck. Yeah, Luffy might get serious about the fruit, not wanting to see Ace's power in bad hands, but I have hard time seeing him really get upset about it.

 

I was talking about the fruit with a friend of mine and I want to see what you guys think, He says that the reason Doflamingo has Ace's fruit is because of the Smile drug/chemical thing.
I just thought that he got lucky or PLOT! inexplicably happened.

While that seems less unlikely I seem to recall smile only being able to make Zoan fruits.

It's a zoan devil fruit, though we don't know the name yet. I think it was mentioned that it was an artificial fruit made by Vegapunk. Also, i have a feeling that this samurai they're going to save might end up as a crew member.

 

Yea I know it was a fruit but chopper ate a 'human' fruit and the end result was kinda permanent. And if I recall correctly the end result was permanent to other people in punk hazard (like btownbeard) too.

The kid seems to shapeshift randomly. So.. What gives?

You seem to have some things mixed up.
Chopper isn't in a permanent form, he can change forms, you know, that's how he fights. Any one who eats a Zoan fruit has 3 forms. Their normal pre-fruit form, a full animal form, and a hybrid ha;f and half form. Chopper is constantly in his hybrid half human half reindeer form. He has more than 3 forms (I don't even know how many after the time skip, like 8+) but he originally had those three. He came up with the rumble ball which let him have many forms, and the reason his human form doesn't look very human is due to him originally being a reindeer.

People who eat Zoan fruit can switch between those three forms at will. They don't just stay in one set form for life. Remember Rob Lucci? He certainly wasn't a giant half human, half leopard thing during the entire water 7/CP9 arc.

And the people on punk hazard aren't Zoans at all. They're regular pirates who had body parts replaced with animal parts thanks to Law's devil fruit.

Really dude, I'm not sure how you missed the powers of a Zoan thing, or mixed the punk hazard guys up with regular Zoans but I hope this helped.

 

So under that reasoning the kid (momosuke?) is yet to display his hybrid form? Perhaps because he seems to have little to no control over his shapeshifting?

That and perhaps one of the drawbacks of a smile is you can't go hybrid.

But now I'm really interested in seeing where the fruit ends up, I doubt any of the straw-hats will get it cause then they'd be way to overpowered, though the general nature of the fruit kinda fits Sanji's black leg techniques.
