The only thing thats super frustrating is we have to wait so much longer between chapters compared to a weekly and we only get 9 pages zzz. Though they did say next update on the 30th so 2 updates in the same week makes it okay i suppose.

Edit: I misspoke, it was a pre-release of the first episode, not the actual premiere of the 1st episode, but still, was good enough quality animation enough to be considered the first ep.

 

Huh, i thought the first episode was leaked? The animation is way too good to be a pre-release. The anime is supposed to start airing in October , i think.

Anyway, you could probably find it easy enough. I watched, like, two weeks ago though the translation was pretty shitty.

 

I just tore through all of this - really wasn't expecting it to be so fun, but it is. Kept me laughing throughout. I rather love the interplay between the main character and the cyborg guy - he's just so eager and serious and the main character doesn't give a damn at all. Great contrast.

Which is your favourite character, guys? I've become oddly fond of the licenceless rider. He's so shitty. And so pointless. And yet he tries so hard.

 

Licenseless Rider is strong, but I'd probably have to pick King. His bromance with Saitama is a thing of beauty, and the King Engine is just too cool, even if it's powered by his cowardice- no, especially because it's powered by his cowardice.

Also, I like how Saitama beat the everloving fuck out of a threat that had just wiped the floor with every single S-class hero, and he only got promoted to low A-class for it. Stay salty hero organization.

The series is originally a web-manga with translations reaching past a hundred chapters. Just search for Onepunch-Man (original) or something like that and you should be able to find it.

As for favorite, I'd agree that King is straight up awesome. But a good second for me would be Tornado of Terror. Not only did she stop what looked like thousands of building-sized shells all by herself, but she also went and bitch-slapped Genos through a wall when he told her to fuck off, which was hilarious.

 

TT seems to be the brain to Saitama's brawn, yeah. She's even drawn in the same shitty art style he is when people are trying to beat up on her (in ONE, at least), which is the purest sign of strength in One Punch Man. If they were to have a child... words aren't enough to describe how godly that offspring would be.

 

My favourite is Speed of Sound Sonic, his childlike face was hilarious.

 

My favorite is definitely Saitama. But I gotta say i'm really liking Garou the more I see of him. At first I was like fuck this weird hair motherfucker when he was first introduced, but i'm liking where he's going.

Also, through his interactions with that little kid, shows he's not all bad which is always a plus.

 

Imma have to go with the Alien guy who came to earth, its so fucking hilarious how similar to Saitama he is in back story.

 

I really wish the manga's updates would be longer, even as good as they are. But I'm so glad this finally got an anime, even though I haven't had time to actually watch an episode. Last stream I found had a really shitty quality, so I got to wonder, how's the animation?
