This is utter bullshit. Voldemort would've gotten the Philosopher's Stone, if we're hugging canon idiotically, and then he'd be immortal. Cue the ruining of Wizard Britain.

And why the fuck would the Wizarding World know about, let alone care about some teenager locked up in prison for murdering his relatives? Seems like full-on BS to me. They would turn to Dumbledore, or the Ministry for Magic, to fight Voldemort.

What makes you think that, without Harry, Voldemort would have been able to breech the Mirror of Erised?

...you're kidding, right? Maybe you forgot the whole "he destroyed Voldemort just by sitting there" thing.

Also, in this fic, the Wizarding World would be right to dig Harry up and chuck him at Voldemort. As Voldemort hasn't used Harry's blood to resurrect himself, he is not immune to the blood protection.

I rate the story 3/5, just. I think it would have been more suitable for Almost Recommended.

Pfeh, this story bored the heck outta me. I started to skim most of it, and really - the "Harry" is stupid. I don't like him, and I don't like this story. It has technically okay points in terms of pure writing skill, but it does nothing original, nothing interesting, and nothing worth my time. This isn't even "Almost recommendable".

For one, the Mirror might not even have a reason to BE in Hogwarts; it's never explained in the first place. Also, it was never shown that breaking the Mirror would keep him from obtaining the Stone (I think; been a long, long time since I read PS), and Quirrel hadn't even consulted Voldemort on any ideas to get through it by the time Harry arrived.

Exactly, he just sat there. What's he going to do to an even more careful, prepared Voldemort? Sit in front of him until he dies from natural causes?

And neither is every other witch and wizard, except for any one anti-Voldemort person. I assume there are people in the Wizarding World who have skills that are better than those of a muggle-raised scrawny teen, however. Just because Harry can't be killed directly by Voldemort does not make him unkillable, by any means.

It doesn't seem too far of a stretch for Voldemort to think 'Hey let Pettigrew stab that Potter kid' and go on with his day. Perhaps, if for some reason Harry is sent to Azkaban, he'll be killed while he's there by a Death Eater. Real life prisons have sneaky ways of working things like this, so perhaps it's not too big of a stretch for Azkaban to be like this (but dreary and shitty).

If breaking the mirror was all it took to get the item, then Dumbledore is as stupid as fanon portrays him as.

    2/5 for this fic, meh.

Nah. Plot's sort of original, but this story doesn't work. I got bored with it rather quickly.

    2/5.
