What if the Dark Side and Light side had a game to see who would win in a full out fight. The dark side and Light side could not be physically involved like fighting but they are allowed to help in influencing events.

It is kind of like a chess game where Harry is the Light sides King and Voldemort is the Dark Side's King. If one of them is killed their side dies.

The idea is that every single magical being was born to be part of the war. For example when Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald, he gave Harry a small advantage of being able to have a good headmaster. If Grindelwald had won, he would have been able to make it harder for Harry since he might have never been born because Muggleborn would not be allowed to live. Basically every wizard,witch, dark creatures are part of a gigantic chess game.


What the sides are going to be
Aberforth is the leader of the Darkside:
During the Prophecy he allowed Snape to listen into the prophecy during Trelawney giving the prophecy. He knew that by doing so he would have killed Harry's parents making him an easier target.
- Voldemort is a pawn of Aberforth in there game off chest.

Olivander is the leader of the Lightside:
He mentors Harry when they first meet.(I will explain more in my fic)
But he is manipulating the Order, Harry into defeating Voldemort
-He purposely gave Harry and Voldemort brother wands.

Neutral Peopleeople who are used so the war could progress
-Trelawney
-Nicholas Flamel
-more

Here is basically what Aberforth and OLivander could not do:
-They are not physically allowd to fight, but they are aloud to manipulate or train people.


Harry in this story will be independent from Dumbledore, but through
out most of the story he will be manipulated by Olivander.

Voldemort in this story is going to be unkowingly be manipulated but he will be kept in character. I will later explain why Olivander and Aberforth are fighting later/

this is all i have right now, but I will plot it out more later. Please tell me what you think about this and how I could improve it.

Look in anger as the two deities have an epic chess game using real humans.
Look in happiness as a lonely orphan boy break through this chain of events.
Look in shock as a terrible evil attempts to open the Pandora’s Box on the world.
Look in wonder as the showdown that countless numbers of people have unknowingly participated almost end.
Look in anticipation as an epic battle between a David and Goliath between…


Ok I will basically put this in the first chapter.

 

veeeeeery interesting. i am surprised by your choice of leaders. are they supposed to be demi gods of a sort, or just extremely influential humans. it had potential however strange that potential may be.

 

They are kind of like God, but they cannot directly fight wars. They basically manipulated the whole world in preparation for the battle between Harry and Voldemort.

Reminds me of the Iliad. Gods aren't allowed to fight among themselves but can influence the mortals and aid in their battles. Using them as pieces on a chess board. Oh! And the story of Hippolytus. That's another example.
I'd suggest you read up about them but the Iliad is very boring and tedious to go through and you need a teacher to fully understand Euripides' Hippolytus.

How can he purposely give them brother wand's.....the wand chooses the wizard you know.

 

Remember I said that Ollivander is basically the God of the Wizarding world. That means that he could basically do whatever the hell he wants other than actually fighting.
